(Numbers • TEMPOREX)

They had been walking through the halls for at least three hours from then.

Minho had been anxious at first to return the revolver to Hyunjin, but even he was aware that it'd be cruel to leave the man armless in this fucked up labyrinth.

With the revolver he too gave the police gun to Hyunjin, who simply stored it in one of his many pockets as a back-up.

They both hadn't said it out loud. But they'd thought about it. They'd seen it in each other's eyes too. They could tell in each other's body language.

That little encounter they had with that monster wouldn't have been their last.

And what scared both the males most was what that Donna woman had told them in that weird room.

"But remember this. There's only one of each."

What else did this weird building behold? What kind of horrors did those doors hide? And could those horrors open those doors?

The constant white was driving Hyunjin insane. The way all the hallways looked the same. The way everything was white. The lights. The walls. The floor. Even the damn doors.
Hyunjin was sure the only thing that kept him sane was the fact that he was clothed in a color different from white.

"I'm hungry." Minho sighed. Hyunjin chuckled despite their serious situation.

"We could take a break." Hyunjin proposed. "But we'll have to switch turns. And we can't eat too much." Hyunjin sighed. "We'll never know when we'll have our next dinner."

Minho sighed. "God I hate this." He grunted.
"The more attention you give to it the worse it gets." Hyunjin said. He had said it accidentally. Felix and he had always loved telling each other metaphors and such a lot, he just kept forgetting Felix wasn't there. It had simply became a habit.

"So we're getting metaphorical now?" Minho teased. He let himself be lowered to the ground by his strong legs and he let his butt softly collide with the white floor.

Minho let out a deep sigh. Then he grunted. And then he let out another sigh. And then another. Then finally a thick but pretty comfortable silence fell.

Hyunjin grabbed the machine gun from Minho's hand. The hesitance the other showed for a bare second didn't go unnoticed by him though.

Hyunjin decided to ignore it and just faced the empty hallway with Minho facing his back. Another silence fell, a bit harder this time.

"Do you think I should try it?" Minho eventually spoke up.
"Try what?" Hyunjin looked at the sitting Minho. He still held the machine gun in his hand and Minho only a Medusa M47, but all thoughts of killing Minho had flown away. He turned back towards the hallway.

"To not give too much attention to my misery." Minho scoffed. Hyunjin couldn't help but let his mouth curl up in a tiny grin. He was grateful for his previous decision of not facing Minho before.

"You could always try." Hyunjin said. He let his smile drop. He looked like a bodyguard or something by the way he was dressed and standing. The military suit and the machine gun, the serious face and the machine gun. Hyunjin almost laughed to himself out loud. Even the thin gloves he had found earlier in one of his many pockets.

"It's not easy though." Hyunjin said, breaking the silence again.
"No?" Minho asked a little sarcastic, he didn't sound surprised at all.
"No." Hyunjin confirmed. "I keep getting stuck in my own mysery too." He said.

"Really?" Minho said sarcastically. "The wise Paulo Coelho isn't capable of following his own advice?"
"It's not advice." Hyunjin said, ignoring the other's sarcasm. "It's a fact. If you think about it hard enough you'll see for yourself."
