(Mattheo's Pov)
The next day
I'm not gonna tell the guys what Aurelia, and I spoke about. It seemed personal, and I didn't want the guys to worry even more about her.
They already won't shut up.
"I don't like the way it ended. There's so much more I wanna say." Said Theo.
"At least the last thing you said to her wasn't Mudblood." Said Draco.
"She's made it clear she doesn't wanna be involved with us, leave her alone." Said Enzo.
I'm surprised at how well Enzo's taking this.
"It's not fair. Draco everything was wasted on you." Said Theo.
"What do you mean?" Said Draco.
"You treated her the worst, yet you're the one who comforted, and touched her. And one of those times was for your own mistake."
Said Theo.
"Get your head outta your ass. She was cutting herself, how far would it have gotten if I hadn't? And if I wasn't there during the storm who knows what would've happened." Said Draco.
"I'm just saying-"
"I can't believe you." Said Draco.
"I'm sorry. I just really like her. And knowing you were there for her makes me jealous. I wish I was there for her." Said Theo.
"Maybe I should talk to her. I feel uncomfortable letting it all go. Especially because I saw those marks." Said Draco.
"Why can't you two just leave her alone?
Remember when you wouldn't leave her alone about shagging, then found out there's some other reason she doesn't wanna be touched?
Maybe she has a reason for this too." Said Enzo.
"Yeah. You have no idea what's going on in her life. If she wants to be left alone, it's best you respect her wishes." I said.
I've been having mixed feelings about Aurelia.
At first I didn't like her, but once I found out how similar we are I can't help but feel for her.
If I hadn't met the guys I would've been just like her. She's miserable. Humans are social creatures, we rely on connections, and Aurelia doesn't have any. She's been robbed of finding happiness within other people. I see myself in her, so I understand her pain.
I wanna show her that there is good in the world. She deserves it.
But another part of me wants to forget all about her. After what she told me I get why she doesn't want friends.
"Draco didn't you say something about her not having a good relationship with her parents?"
I asked.
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with any of this?"
Draco's naive.
"I just feel like there's more to her then we know." I said.
"That's exactly why we can't leave her alone."
Said Theo.
"If she needs us she'll come to us. Let's try not to stress." Said Enzo.
"Whatever. She has my number, she'll text me if she needs me right?" Said Draco.
"I don't think so. If anything she'll text Enzo."
I laughed.
