What is the most painful thing about betrayal?....... It never comes from your enemies.

Eui

"Fucking bitch," Gaeun cursed running her fingers through her hair as she slapped me for the ninth time.

I was tied to a chair, beaten up with sticks, knives, hammers, and blades for the last hour.

I wished it hurt me.

But that didn't even compare to the pain I was feeling right now. Gaeun was with them all this time.

"Gaeun-ah what are you doing?" I stared at Gaeun in shock, she was holding a knife, dressed in all black like a spy.

"I'm here for you my dear Eui," Gaeun smirked and launched at me, aiming to hit my neck which I dodged. My eyes were wide as I felt my chest turn hollow and cold while getting squeezed tightly.

"Fuck," Gaeun cursed fighting me after throwing her knife away. All I could do was defend myself. I couldn't fight her. I can never lay a hand on her. Never. She clawed my arms with her nails, her punch weakened my jaw and I just stopped defending. Blood was everywhere as she dragged me out of the balcony attaching me to a rope dropping me to a car waiting down and she hopped in later. She gave me a grin, no emotions, just cold darkness in her eyes and she drugged me.

The only physical pain I felt right now was the way my chest hurt. It was burning like someone had drilled a hole in it and tried to patch it with molten hot metal. I closed my eyes feeling the betrayal sink in as she started to hit me with a baseball bat again. I wanted one reason to believe her but when our eyes met all I could see was a blank piece of red sheet, our once friendship covered in the blood of mine.

She leaned closer to me, her hair stuck to her forehead due to her sweat. She breathed like a dragon and I could feel it on my nose as she stared closely into my eyes.

"Say something," She gritted, frustrated I wasn't fighting back. I just stared back with the same loathing and smirked.

"Bitch," I said and she moved back with a blank face.

"Bravo," I heard a familiar voice, my eyes drifted to the other side of the room, away from the source. I hated that voice with every nerve in my body.

"My baby girl is so savage," Hyun leaned to my eye level with a grin. I was disgusted.

"You hurt her a lot," Hyun held my chin forcefully turning my head from side to side to examine my whole face.

"Boss said to kill her," Gaeun moved away, opening a suitcase and checking for any good knives to use on me. I need to get my shit together. I can't be a stupid girl now. I need to see it, properly.

We were in a hotel room. It was luxurious even though small. I hear the city voice outside. A familiar sound of the music that plays in one of the hotels in Incheon. I came here with Soohee, I know the streets well here. We are not in the high levels of the building, maybe around the fifth or sixth floor. I can see a huge bridge. There was a balcony. Several guns lying in Gaeun's suitcase.

"We are not going to kill her, I convinced him to keep her alive, I want to enjoy her," Hyun leaned near me, an inch away from my lips, smirking. Gaeun paused for a second before resuming her work, her back was facing me so I couldn't see her expression.

I looked into Hyun's eyes with no fear. I spit on his face and he stumbled back wiping his face with disgust. He grabbed my hair, I felt a little pain.

"Bitch, just be happy I'm sparing your life," He slapped me twice but the smirk on my face never left.

"Leave," he commanded Gaeun who rolled her eyes.

"No," She said sitting on the couch.

"GO!" Hyun anger shot through his voice making Gaeun look at him in surprise.

"Fine, geez," She got up and left.

"I'll make you suffer baby," Hyun smirked tilting his head like a maniac. He removed his shirt and held my head up forcefully.

He kissed my lips forcefully trying to get me to open my mouth for him to invade me. I felt disgusted by his touch. I hated how it felt. I hated every second of him. But I need to be strong. Only the strongest can survive.

I opened my mouth a little letting him in but he didn't expect what I did next. I forcefully bit down his lips and half of his tongue almost cutting it off. He screamed and called over the guards. I laughed like a psycho seeing him crying in pain on the ground, I spit his blood on the ground as the guards took me to the parking lot going towards a car. I needed to get out.

I kicked one of the guards in the balls luckily snatching his gun in the meantime with my hands tied in the back and shot the rest. There were only four. I ran to the elevator and got in, not the best option but I had no other way. A terrified woman was looking at me as though she had seen a ghost. Perhaps she did. My mouth was covered in blood, my hands were holding a gun, and my shirt and pants were ripped in many places with blood all over my body in bruises and cuts. I don't even know how I was running with all that pain myself.

"Remove it or you're dead," I said turning my back on her, showing my hands.

She trembled due to the gun I held but managed to remove the thread as I threatened her for her life. She flinched when I rotated my wrist, and in the process, the gun pointed at her. I left her at some random floor and moved quickly to the top floor, the Helly pad. I got out of the elevator and felt the wind breeze and cool my wounds. I sat in the middle waiting patiently for someone I knew would come. And he will

I laid down comfortably, resting my head on my palms, leg on top of the other as I lazily shook my foot. I turned my head hearing a helicopter fly towards me. I smirked. Finally. It landed a little beside me and I still laid down like I owned this building.

A man in his late forties walked out. His demeanour was confident, dominating but nothing could make me fear. He looked grave as though death itself had come to greet me and welcome me to hell. He was old though, much older than when I had seen him last. His countenance held nothing but mocking power.

He was the one behind everything that's happened to my father, brothers and me. He stood beside me, looking down at me lying there with a wicked smile.

"Nice to finally meet you, Uncle Jae,"
