My hands press the play button on my laptop and a very old video churns up with a rough audio. The place seems to be somewhere dark and underground. A man starts speaking in it, playing a couple of clips in between.

"My name is Kim Jihyue, a former detective now labelled the traitor. The life here is different, it is filled with lies and truths that exchange their facade every now and then, it's hard to believe what is what when your back is crawling with insects that are waiting to suck your blood. I am trying to understand what's going on here and document it so I can later prove to the Government that I am innocent. Clip one.

'You are all being ridiculous!' Kim Dong-soo shouts, standing up from the conference table as his fists collide, creating a loud sound echoing through the tall walls.

'We are just surviving, moreover, you are the one involved in this business because of your sick gambling addiction, and who made you start gambling again after you stopped for your family? That sick bastard Daehyung and his brother,' Says Jung Dong-Chul, dressed in a black suit as his jaw twitches with anger. Kim Dongsoo rubs his forehead, groaning with frustration.

'We need a different plan. All our allies have given up on us, the cops are behind us, and the underworld is waiting for a sight of us. We need a plan with guaranteed success,' Jeon Taesuk mutters as he looks through a file.

'Trust me, the only way is my plan. Even Hyeon can't deny that it will shake the whole underworld,' Park Moonsik smirks leaning back on the chair, his hands supporting the back of his head.

A heated discussion among them continues; the dark walls of the underground building separate them from their families and society from their dark secret truths. Kim Jihyue is now on the screen and he seems to be reading off a file.

"Kim Dong-soo, a father of two children, a seven-year-old son Kim Taehyung, a five-year-old Kim Ariel daughter, and with a wife Ava whom he had fallen in love with when he went to New York. He was accused of drug smuggling in South Korea, along with multiple murders. His wife, Kim Ava, had divorced him and taken both her children to her mother's home in New York after finding out his secret life as an assassin with a gambling addiction. She felt betrayed and heartbroken when she found out. He had lied to her for nine years. She had always thought he was a hard-working man but she should've noticed that those scars and wounds weren't from construction but from something else. He had begged her to stay, told her he would change for his kids, and said he loved her too much to lose her, but she was persistent on leaving and finally did.

But Dongsoo was an egoistic man. He had too much ego to believe it was his fault and blamed a friend who had turned into an enemy, Jaemyung. Jaemyung had brought out the worst in Dongsoo. His gambling addiction surfaced again, he started drinking more, and finally, he had done so many horrible things he was now one of the top ten wanted criminals in many countries. He had lost his home, his lover, his beloved little children and worst of all, he had lost the meaning of his life to gambling and alcohol. He still blamed Jaemyung. He felt lonely and powerless when he met five people who would change his life.

Jeon Taesuk was one of them, a smart and powerful man who was ruthless when it came to bloody wars. He was one of the mafias that governed the ports and he was merciless. He had a wife whose name is unknown and a son, Jeon Jungkook. He wasn't a great father as he viewed his only son as more of a responsibility rather than a child he needed to parent. His wife had passed away giving birth to Jungkook which caused him to hold a grudge against him. He was never a terrible person to begin with. Jungkook was made to go through hard training and workouts at such a tender age. He was told to keep his emotions silent, to obey his father's commands and never question them.
