After a long flight, Taniya and Aditya finally landed in Paris. They had already had their lunch on the flight.
When they stepped off the jet, a sleek car was waiting for them.Aditya opened the door and Taniya slid inside, still taking in the rush of travel.
He joined her and the driver started toward their hotel. The car stopped at a stunning, grand building that made Taniya stare, stunned by the architecture.
The lobby was all in shade of gold and white with glass chandeliers overhead. She was looking around when Aditya gently took her hand to guide her through the busy entrance.
“The hotel is beautiful,” she managed, still in awe.Aditya smiled, glad to see her happy. “Do you like it?”
“I love it,” Taniya replied.
“Glad you liked what I chose. Though I can't take all the credit” Taniya turned her head towards him to listen to what he was about to say.
“Vivaan has designed this place. His firm was assigned to redesign the entire property. It's one of his signature works”. Taniya’s mouth formed an O in surprise.
She opened her mouth to say something but the elevator chimed before the words could escape..
They stepped inside and rode up to the top floor in silence which was broken as they exited their elevator and she saw their room.
The entire top floor wasn't divided into rooms. It was made into just one suite.
As they stepped inside the first thing she saw was the airy lounge floored with tons of natural light, perfect for pictures. She walked into a hallway that branched into smaller corners that led to a dining nook and a really beautiful open space. The main bedroom had floor to ceiling windows, giving the view of the entire city.
The real highlight was the pool that was right at the edge of the building and had the perfect view of Eiffel Tower. Taniya was already feeling sad that she won’t be able to enjoy the pool due to winter.
“This is so beautiful,” she said, smiling softly.
“I have stayed here a few times but it has never felt this beautiful,” Aditya said with a grin.
“Did he come here often? Vivvan said that he didn't have any girlfriends so who did he come here with?” Taniya thought, rolling her eyes at herself.
She knew her thoughts were silly but that didn't stop them from emerging.
“I used to visit alone,” Aditya said, catching Taniya off guard.
“How did he know? Did he read my mind?” Her cheeks flushed with surprise.
Aditya chuckled, looking at her reaction. “You said that out loud, not just in your mind.”
Taniya felt a shy smile tug at her lips.
Taniya explored the suite a bit more before they decided to freshen up and get ready to explore the city.
Aditya stepped out of his bedroom after changing into a high neck charcoal sweater that hugged his frame. He had paired it with dark trousers and a dark blue overcoat was hanging on his arm. He walked into the lounge where he saw Taniya looking at herself in the full length mirror. Her beige coat was layered over a deep burgundy sweater and fitted black trousers.
On the first day, they had very little time to visit places before the sun went down and they returned to their hotel.
After dinner, they both were sitting on the lounge chair when Aditya turned his head toward her.“What do you want to do tomorrow?” he asked gently.
