"Shall we go inside? You are sick" he whispered to Taniya, his voice a soft murmur over her head as he enveloped her in his embrace.
"Everything's alright now," she murmured back, her words carrying a weight that transcended their simplicity—a depth he understood without needing further explanation.
"Everything's alright?" he echoed, seeking confirmation not of her words, but of the unspoken emotions swirling beneath them.
"Everything," she affirmed, and he hummed in response, a sound that vibrated with shared understanding.
They lingered in the comfort of each other's arms before retreating indoors, where Taniya lay down, a sense of contentment settling over her. She closed her eyes, and he watched her for a moment, the sight stirring something deep within him. After changing, he returned to her side, cocooning her in his arms. She smiled in her sleep, her heart responding to his touch even in the depths of slumber.
Morning dawned, and they fell into their usual routine—Aditya to the gym, Taniya attempting to exercise but never quite succeeding. They freshened up and prepared for the day ahead, Taniya's renewed vibrancy evident to all.
As they finished breakfast, they left for their work. While Aditya was driving towards the hospital, he announced, "We're attending a business party tonight."
"You're telling me this now?" Taniya's annoyance was tinged with a hint of playfulness.
"You still have time," he assured her with an innocent smile.
"No, I don't," she protested, her mind racing through potential outfits and preparations for the evening.
"Don't worry, I've arranged everything. You just need to finalize the dress with Naira. I've taken care of the rest."
His words eased her concerns, and soon they arrived at the hospital where he dropped her off with an unexpected kiss that left him pleasantly surprised.
Later, after a call from Naira, Taniya left the hospital and they headed to the boutique Aditya had chosen. Unbeknownst to Taniya, he had already selected a few dresses he thought would suit her perfectly, instructing the staff to keep his involvement a secret.
With Naira's help, Taniya searched the boutique until she found the perfect dress. As she emerged from the fitting room, Naira gasped, and the manager couldn't help but comment, "No wonder Mr. Singhania favored this dress—you look ethereal."
"Mr. Singhania?" Naira inquired, puzzled.
"Yes, he had a vision for what would suit madam best, and this was his top choice," the manager explained, causing Taniya to blush with delight.
Upon attempting to pay, Taniya learned that Aditya had already settled the bill. She and Naira then proceeded to the beauty parlor, where a professional makeup artist awaited.
Aditya arrived, moments later, adjusting his tuxedo with a practiced ease. As he smoothed the fabric, his gaze inadvertently captured Taniya's silhouette.
Time seemed to slow, his movements ceased, and a symphony of heartbeats crescendoed within his chest. She was an ethereal vision, cloaked in the very dress he had once envisioned for her—a choice that now intertwined their fates.
A surge of elation washed over him, as radiant as the smile that graced his lips.
With a grace born of a thousand emotions, he approached her, the air charged with anticipation. Gently, he lifted her hand to his lips, bestowing a kiss.
