Chan's POV
/flashback/
"You talked about me? You dared to say my name?""I'm sorry– I'm sorry- aaah!"
Me and some students around us immediately separated Liv and the other girl. Liv just pulled her hair roughly and if we didn't do anything something worse would happen.
"Liverra, stop!"
"You defend her, Chan? She was the one who mocked me!"
I sighed then asked for them to leave us alone and take that girl somewhere else.
"I know, but no need to be rude like this!"
"So I was wrong?"
"Liv–" I tried to calm her down, but as usual she ran out the gate, expecting me to chase her. If I didn't do it once, she would whine like a baby for two weeks. Or probably, she would get rid of that girl.
Sh*t, when would I be able to escape from this crazy girl?
—
It was a memory I remembered about Liverra. But, what's wrong with her now?
It had been several days since the rumors blew up. It had been several days walking in every part of the school with people glancing at her. She had been in the same class with me several times, sometimes without Anne by her side, but she remained silent and lowered her head when loud whispers spoke bad about her. But like a different person, she did nothing. She didn't do the crazy things she usually did. As if the past whole year made her change into a new person.
I sighed, leaning back on the couch. This time I was really curious. I took my phone and texted Seungmin to meet me—
"Meet-me-in-30-minutes-at-our-old-school-to-find-out-about-Liv— oooooohhhh you've fallen in love with your future wife— ack, sorry, sorry!"
Damn it! I kicked Han Jisung's ass who just peeked at my phone. This kid was a bit difficult to handle. "What are you doing here ??"
"My class was canceled. Mrs. Erin's sick." He took a cola from the fridge then plopped himself next to me. "Has Liv talked to her parents?"
"I'm not sure. My dad still insists on scheduling a dress fitting for us."
"Then what do you say?"
"I said I was busy with SA activities." If that was the reason, how could my dad refuse? He wanted me to have a good reputation for his own sake too.
All my seven closest boys already knew about my business marriage with Liv. Just them. Even Maddie didn't know about this. And because of this gossip going around I had to lie that me and Liv were just attending a business event and were grounded for being drunk and making a mess. Luckily she believed in me and our relationship went on as usual. I didn't really care about the gossip around. They would forget it as time went by and as long as seeing Maddie was still okay with me. I knew this was unfair for Liv because no one said bad things to me, like all the blame was to her.
