Chan's POV

Love will never discriminate.

Love isn't always for someone who's different from others. Love isn't always for someone who's beautiful. Love isn't always for someone who's rich. Love isn't always for someone who's unique.

In essence, all humans have similarities and differences. In essence, love will never only choose perfect people. In essence, love has no terms because it's a gift like the sun in the morning, like fresh air, or like flowing water. Love is a special thing that everyone deserves to feel because everyone is special.

Love is an inviolable feeling. Love can come to anyone and anywhere. Love can come in unexpected situations, at the worst times in life, or when we feel we don't deserve to be loved.

It's a crime if love is only entitled to be felt by people who are considered to have rights and access. So if everyone said Liverra doesn't deserve love because she's a typical girl and isn't special, if everyone said that Maddie should be chosen because she's a 'high quality' girl, then I chose to shut the mouths of those who didn't have any right nor quality to control my decisions.

If they said Maddie was the perfect girl, then I was tired of being the perfect boy that so many people depend on. I was tired of sacrificing my feelings for these kinds of stupid rules. I was too tired of straightening my shoulders hard but the insides were fragile.

Yes, I was fragile. I was a fragile and broken man who loved villainess that people hated. But let this story run as it was. Let me be a villain with the villainess who sailed the vast ocean together. Let me be her man, and in our book, I'd change her to be my main character.

"So she is—"

"Pregnant based on her urine test. Gonna check her up as soon as we step on the land. The doc said there's a possibility she is injured due to being hit with a blunt object and must take a complete break from studying and other strenuous activities for some time until her condition recovers. The effects of trauma and prolonged stress also affect her. She needs to eat healthily, do positive activities, and the presence of her beloved people will really help."

I repeated what the doctor had explained to everyone— except the parents. I had no idea what Eric, my dad, JJ, and Rui were doing outside the room. A moment after the doctor, who for some reason also boarded the helicopter, left the room, they all went into the room where Liv was asleep. The room was big enough for them to be here without making it feel cramped.

"It's a wooden stick." Minho informed, then he turned to Allina. "And you just stood there while she was being hit?"

"And make that b*tch suspicious of me?"

"Guys, stop!" An annoyed Seungmin broke up Minho and Allina before they could fight. They both snorted, but decided not to drag this issue out. Besides, I was the one who needed an explanation about what had just happened. It all happened so fast before I even did much. And after finding out about Liv's condition from the doctor, my feelings didn't get any calmer. I was angry that there was blood coming out of her body. I was angry at myself for realizing she was missing too late.

"Instead of adding to the problem, can you explain where y'all have been and suddenly appear at a critical time? Her life is in danger!"

Unconsciously I snapped at them— my tears flowed remembering how stressed I was thinking about the million possibilities that could happen. I didn't care if my life was at stake, but Liv was hanging without any certainty of her safety. Even though they finally appeared one by one as my friends, I couldn't imagine her feelings being on the verge of death for the second time.
