"Take her to the room!"

One of the clown-masks ordered one of the members who was sitting next to me during the ride, then they went to another corridor.

I had just gotten off the Jeep parked inside the big ship. With my hands still tied, they took me up, passing corridors without knowing where they took me. Then we stopped in front of a door, they opened it and pushed me in. I heard the door being locked without any explanation.

I took a deep breath and slowly sat on the bed. It felt very tiring, but I was a little relieved that they were sane enough to give me a decent room. Even with a card and a welcome drink on the nightstand that said "Enjoy your time in this luxurious room before your life ends", I still had a little chance to calm down. Prepare myself even though my time was short.

At this point, I just wanted them to execute me immediately. I was tired of being on the verge of death, in the middle of the choice to survive or give up. And it turned out, accepting fate was much better than surviving. Just like I did before, I had accepted that I would disappear from the face of the earth. I eventually got another chance to live, but would things happen twice? Probably not. Because they were sick of seeing me again. They would make sure I'm truly dead.

The door unlocked, opened, revealing Maddie who was still obsessed with pointing her gun at me. Behind her was Allina and three of the members following her in. One of them carried a wooden stick that seemed to be the weapon to shed my blood this time.

"Tell him what you said to me." Maddie said, typing some numbers.

"Huh?" I frowned, what did she mean? But out of confusion, she slapped me hard. Blood dripped out of my lips.

"Just say you hate him and your marriage. Say anything bad about his family or how bad he was leading SA. How ugly and annoying is the boys—"

"No."

"Such a freak you are. Then we'll do worse." She then showed me the screen, speaker on, and Chan's number was there. Ah— I just realized I already remembered his number without even trying.

"He picks up?" Allina asked Maddie.

"Not yet— ah, he's here."

'Hello? Allina?'

My heart was pounding hard. Yes, that's his voice. I heard his panicked breathing and noises like wind and engines around him— I didn't know what it was or what he was doing.

'Allina, Where are you at? Is Liv with you? She's kidnapped! Maddie took her!'

I was about to answer, but Maddie motioned for silence and threatened me with her gun. She giggled when he kept calling Allina's name because no one answered and he still thought Allina was innocent. Maddie then pulled Allina closer to the screen, then taking a lazy breath before replying.

"Chan!" Allina pretended to cry. "I— I don't know where I am. And it's not Maddie. Liv's the one who kidnapped us— uh— she brings her squads, pretends to p-play a drama so Maddie's accused. Maddie— is with me, beside me unconscious."

What?
What did she just say?

"No! Hfftt—" I was about to scream but they covered my mouth and moved me away from the phone. All my remaining energy went into rebellion. If previously I rebelled against our marriage, this time I did it to be with him. To let him know I was here.
