Chan's POV
–
No, this ain't just a booklet for surveys only. Eric literally just gave us this whole free honeymoon with a little surveys at some places.
This booklet consisted of a schedule for our flights with the booking and flight number, and some recommended places like tourism destinations, restaurants, also some home decor and materials shops for us to learn– to get ready for our family business. While we brainstormed, I moved to Uni's online program so I would attend physically once a month. For SA, I was still the Chief– of course I should finish my title in responsibility. But as Liv left SA due to her health, Seungmin was chosen to be the Vice and would be responsible in the house.
Focusing on my wife, my family, and my family business were my top priority. Especially Liverra. In her 5th week pregnancy, her super-little bump appeared so cutely. She hadn't changed much– her appetite was still the same as usual. The thing was she got tired and sick easily. It was probably due to her prolonged stress and as time went by, I believed she would be better. Her being like this was partly my fault either for failing to understand her earlier.
This was our third day of our honeymoon. We were at the glass igloos hotel, enjoying the falling snow right above us. It was such a romantic moment with her beside me– the flakes reflected to her orbs, focusing on each other as a good way to help us release those tired months fighting for justice.
"Morning, beautiful."
She smiled with eyes refusing to open. Hands stretching, almost hitting my face in front of her. Since when she had been a pro at being a real kitty?
"Mhm— what time is it?"
"Almost six." I brought her closer because she was still sleepy. She just accepted, curled her hands to her own chest while I hugged her. "Cold?"
Hums were the answer she replied. I quickly covered us with a blanket, and she moved closer and closer to me. Both of us giggled realizing how comfortable this position was.
"We're gonna leave today?"
"Are you tired? We can reschedule if you want."
"No. I'm not at all. I'm very energized."
"Said someone who almost collapsed last night."
She opened her eyes when I reminded her what happened. She was having bad nausea and throwing up— ended up being weak and almost hit the floor. I calmed her down because she was crying from the horrible feelings, sometimes blaming herself for ruining the trip. I told her to not blame herself and we could go home if she wanted, but she disagreed as well.
"It's just because of the nausea." She complained. I gave her a peck to cheer her up and I did it. "I'm really excited for this trip. Don't go home now."
"Alright. Anything for you, Mommy."
I loved to call her that. So in love to imagine myself also being called dad. I loved her red shy cheeks every time I said she'd be a good mom and we're gonna have a beautiful little family. None of us had imagined to be in this state, to be in love deeply when we hated each other almost three months ago. Just in months everything could happen. Everything could change. But times would lead us to our beautiful destiny if we did all things with a good heart.
"Chan, by the way, Zach said you have my grad certificate?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, I forgot to give it back to you."
"No worries. How did you get it?"
"I visited our school for some investigation. He kept it for a long time at the old administration school. He said you and your family haven't taken it yet."
"Oh— I don't even remember that. Because we tried to hide away, we couldn't take it. But thank you."
She suddenly got up. I quickly followed her as she walked to take her coat, afraid she might feel something bad or offended by my words and actions towards her past trauma. "Liv, I'm sorry."
"For what? I just wanna do something outside. This is the right time."
"Liv— it's still very cold at this hour." I held her hand. "Wait until the sun comes."
"That's the point. Quick, wear your coat!"
Liverra was such a woman with surprises. She was unpredictable like a mystery box– expensive and tempting. Her soft hand held my hand out of the door and took us to the most beautiful morning I ever seen in my life. The sun was rising in orange, pink, and blue altogether, blended beautifully like a painting. I noticed some other guests were also getting out and taking some pics.
I saw her looking so happy, staring at the view with a pretty smile that I had never seen before. This was probably the best she had ever worn. A sincere, pure and genuine smile of happiness. Beside the snowflakes, I noticed the sky color combination also suited her orbs', and I swore I fell in love again and again. From today, I promised to see more reflection there, to see myself in her, to keep those eyes smiling forever.
"Chan, you can stare at me anytime, but this view is rare."
Oh, she caught me. "You know about this thing?"
"The hotel's staff already told us but you didn't concentrate."
I laughed to see her annoyed face, so I just took her body in front of me and hugged her from behind. "Sorry, you're so beautiful at that time. I can't help but stare at you. Now you better look at this rare view longer because after we go home, you'll spend your whole life looking at my face."
