Liverra's POV
—
He. was. f*cking. crazy. Why the hell did he chase me?
After he acted strangely by scolding me when I was panicking in front of the guests, and then he stared at me continuously during the ceremony. And just now his hand was touching my lips. He got even weirder by chasing me into the cottage like a damn beast.
I didn't know what he wanted, to come back to scold me or do anything weird again. What I wanted right now was to run faster and lock myself in my room. Lucky me to quickly find an empty room and sprint inside. I didn't care about my bag which was still in the living room, I could take it when everyone's asleep.
"Liverra, wait!"
He was close but I tried to be faster. For now, my lucky coins ran out because he held the door open before I had enough time to close it. We looked at each other while panting, I pushed the door one more time with the last energy I had.
"Chan– get off ! What are you doing ?"
"And you, what are you doing?" He asked me the same. "Now back off before I get mad and break this f*cking door!"
This time I gave up along with my drained body. I let him walk inside, but I ignored him and just sat on the bed. None of us wanted to start any conversation so I would say he did something useless. This awful silence torturing me to the limit I would explode from too much thing I passed today.
When people say I have to plan my own future, lies have driven my senses too much to the point where I was drunk on it. And since a year ago I had learned it. I learned to achieve my dreams knowing that I couldn't get everything. And even if I could reach it, the obstacles were not always easy.
It'd been a few days since I last met him at JJ's office. I'd locked myself in my house knowing the newest fact that JJ found something made me happy and angry at the same time. Rui kept staying by my side to take care of me, as well as contacting Shin Hyunjin to postpone our meeting. She also lied to Chan with 'tradition' reasons so he stopped contacting me. I wouldn't be strong if he wanted to get angry again and ask me to do what he wants.
And that 'fact' still messed me up to this day. I knew I might give rise to new gossip for my cold behavior during the ceremony. Yes, maybe Chan had acted quite well by pretending to stare at his beloved wife in front of guests, and I didn't help him at all.
"Liv–"
"I was wrong. I'm sorry, Chan." I cut his words with my hand covering my face. "I know you will scold me right now, right? And before you do that, I want to say my apology directly to you. But please– please let me be alone for sometime. Just an hour, that's more than enough–"
"What are you talking about ? I don't want to scold you."
Oh—
"I just want to ask, are you okay?"
What?
I looked at him. I knew he was getting weirder. It took more than ten seconds for me to answer him. "I'm okay."
"You sure?"
I nodded, he nodded back. "Okay then, I'll leave you and go to my room."
He left me while I heard his footsteps. I'd let him go a bit far before I closed the door. But after that he came back to my room with confusion. "Wait— are you sure this is your room?"
I frowned. "Uhm, I don't know. I just saw this empty room and took it. But if this yours, I'll go find another room—"
"No. Just use this one. I'll take another room. You can shower and chill. I'm going back to the boys." He nodded and left me just like that.
