Memoriae of Her

Liverra's POV

1. Flashback to the day I was kidnapped

"I'm glad you came."

Cold sweat drenched my body as I realized I was trapped. Damn! Stupid me who couldn't control my emotions because of an offensive text by an unknown number, saying I was a b*tch and asking me to come at midnight to the school warehouse which hadn't been used for a long time.

I looked around, six people of different heights– assumed to be boys and girls of different grades. They seemed to be in a circle that had hated me for a long time or whatever they wanted. It was just that it's funny to me to see them wearing voice changers, clown masks, and black robes so I didn't recognize them.

If this meant anything to these idiots, it was important to me to pay attention to their tone, speaking style, and movements. That's what I once heard from my dad's private detective. Controlling them wasn't easy. I'd be sure to blow the cover once I'm done dealing with them.

"What do you want?"

"Me?" Someone who was around my height approached me. The voice was like a man's, must not be the real voice, yet the tone was sweet. The movements were like ...uhm- someone I seemed to have seen before. "I just want to talk."

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Leave Chan."

"Why?"

"Just f*cking end and leave him alone, b*tch!"

I laughed, so another Chan's secret admirer, huh? Such a pitiful soul begged to be with my boyfriend in a dirty way. "Who the hell are you thinking? You think Chan will like you this way– AAAH!"

A sudden heavy pain knocked me down. My head throbbed, blood trickled down my face so that my vision blurred. Instantly I realized the wounds they made were serious. Apparently they didn't play games with me. They were hell serious.

"W-what are you doing? I'd tell Chan–"

"You want to tell him, huh?" They laughed, then ordered their friends to tie me up and cover my mouth while talking to me. That gloved right hand gripped my cheek roughly. "You can still laugh, being arrogant and disgusting like this. Don't you realize that everyone here hates you? Your boyfriend never cared about you anyway."

Without waiting for my response, this person stood up and left me there. Some of them damaged the CCTV and started the fire, and the fire spread so fast, maybe because of the kerosene they had spilled from the smell I caught.

Some time passed, and as the red flare surrounded me, here's my death poem that will never be heard. From a person that was never wanted by anyone.

My body felt numb for hours being tied

The rope digged to my skin

Blood covering my sight

I screamed, but no one's coming

Minutes felt like hours, hours felt like a day

To the point I gave up

I can't hope for a hero to save me

Because I'm alone

No one cares and that's what I deserve
