Chan's POV

"You awake?"

"Y-yeah. Where is it?" She looked so cute rubbing her eyes like that. Even though I worried because her face was pale, I was grateful that she was no longer as weak as before.

I was lucky that no one saw me because the whole way home and when my dad's personal doctor came to our house to check on her– I cried. I didn't know why but my heart was so broken seeing her faint in such a bad condition. I called her name many times even though I knew she probably couldn't hear it. I said many times how I didn't want to lose her, in frustration, I expressed everything I felt even though she probably didn't realize my feelings all this time.

Maybe she would keep pushing me away, letting me stay on the edge of the invisible line she set. She would still consider us as best friends who were trapped in such an inappropriate relationship. So from this moment, I would make her closercloser to me and make her believe that she could believe me. "This is my– uhm– our house."

Her eyes widened. She shifted uncomfortably and was about to stand up, maybe to find a way out without knowing where the front door was. Before she did that, I restrained her, put her back to lie on my bed. Her head on the pillow, I grabbed both of her hands and brought my face closer to her. I smirked, teasing her a bit would be fun. "You're in my territory."

"But this wasn't my will, you brought me here on purpose! You should bring me home!" Her red cheeks puffed up. Damn, she's so f*cking cute. I wanted to eat her mochi-cheeks right now.

"Well– I have no choice. Rui isn't home."  I kissed her cheek before whispering right in her ear. "Since you're here, on my very private bed, you should be punished for invading– eh?"

I stopped when I heard a sob come out of her mouth. She took her hand away from me to rub her eyes again. I quickly held it back so that her eyes wouldn't get irritated, then I wiped away her tears slowly with my thumbs. "You feel sick?"

"Don't punish me." She begged softly.

"What?"

"I don't want to be punished. Please let me go home."

For God's sake, I hoped that my mind was sane enough to hold myself together to see Liv's cute behavior even though she was crying. Maybe it wasn't just her– but I was sure my face was burning too. I didn't know– did I catch a fever? Or maybe I'd had Liv-fever for a long time?

"I'm just kidding. My weak heart won't be able to punish you in a situation like this."

Without waiting for her response, I immediately kissed her forehead, then slowly moved to her cheek, and then her eyes. I left the longest on her pale lips– crushed them in the hope that her lips would turn pink again. Because to be honest, I was also embarrassed to see her face after saying that cringe thing.

"Stop–" Her hand patted my chest, pushing me so I had to part my lips. She was breathing heavily and her face was very red. "You will get infected."

"As long as my body's healthy, I won't. I'm very healthy right now. Are you worried about me?"

"I'm not!" She gulped and looked away from me. "You're the Chief, and also my good friend. It'll be hard for everyone if you're sick."

"No worries because I'm going on temporary rest from SA. After the trip."

This time she finally looked at me with a confused face. "Why?"

"I broke the rules."

"SA regulations?"
