Chapter 37

-soap's Pov-

I woke up in a hospital bed. I looked around and saw Ghost in the bed next to me. He was asleep...or unconscious...I couldn't tell...

I saw Gaz sitting in a chair sleeping. I opened my mouth to say something but I had a tube in my throat.

I coughed and spluttered. Gaz woke up quickly and ran to me.

"Shhh calm down... don't try to speak" he whispered softly.

I lent back again and looked at him with wide eyes. My gaze wandered over to ghost.

"He'll be okay... don't worry" Gaz whispered.

I was still in the hospital and it was now the new year Ghost was sat next to me he was holding his phone in front of us and we were on video call with price and Gaz.

"How you holding up soap?" Price asked. Smiling happily through the phone.

"I could be better" I admitted.

"Happy new year mate" Gaz said poking his head into the frame.

I laughed when price pushed Gaz's head away.

I smiled wearily and yawned. "We'll leave you to rest soap" price said.

The call ended and ghost put his phone in his pocket. I looked up at him.

"W...what happened in that flower field?" I asked.

"What flower field? There was no flower field" ghost said with a shrug.

I gave him a confused look "the flower field where we saw roach" I said.

"Roach died years ago." Ghost replied "and I don't remember a flower field"

I looked confused. Why didn't he remember?

"But....but..." I sighed "okay..."

I was bored and tired. Ghost was asleep and I was restless. I just wanted to be back on my feet again. I yawned but I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep my mind was all over the place.

My head hurt. I had a pounding headache. I looked at ghost wishing he would wake up and help me. I groaned and held my head in my hands. Will this pain just go away?

"Ghost..." I whispered hoping he would wake up. This headache was driving me crazy. "Hm?" He hummed in response. I looked over at him. "I have a pounding headache...can you get me some paracetamol? Or some form of painkiller?" I asked weakly. He opened his eyes and sat up "sure" he said as he left the room.

I'd taken the painkillers and my headache was slowly starting to fade but it was still there.

Ghost had been discharged and told to leave so I was sat by myself. I was so board and lonely.

I fell asleep and fell into a world of dreams of ghost.
