Chapter 36

-soap's Pov-

I was sitting in a field of flowers I had cupped a flower in my hands and smiled. I liked it here.

I wanted to stay here forever. I looked up at the moon above me. So beautiful...

Then my heart started to beat faster and it felt like it was being squeezed. I clutched my chest and started to gasp for air.

What was happening?

Then I saw a hooded figure holding a scythe.

Death...

I got up and started to run. I wasn't going to let him get me...

I kept running and didn't plan to stop. I looked behind and saw the grim reaper gliding towards me. It kept shifting forms... hooded skeleton figure, a man in a black suit, a snake, Anubis...

Then I saw the ground start to cave in...

I ran faster and faster I didn't want to stop...

It was getting closer...

Then something flew past my head and hit it...

I looked forward and saw roach and ghost...

"Hurry up Johnny!" Ghost shouted. Roach aimed at the grim reaper again.

I jumped into Ghost's arms.

"Sorry but it's not his time just yet" Roach said.

I looked at Roach but before I could say anything he spoke. "Listen I know you have questions but there's no time...I can hold him off only for a few minutes... Run that way and run into the green light... don't go into the warm white light...go into the green light it'll take you back to life... Run and don't look back" roach instructed.

"Roach..." I went to say but ghost pulled me away "no time Johnny just run!" Ghost yelled.

I ran with Ghost and I glanced back and saw Roach keeping the grim reaper back.

I sped up and looked at Ghost but I stayed silent. He didn't look at me he just kept running.

I looked back again and saw Roach had vanished and the grim reaper was gliding towards us.

Then a deep, menacing voice filled my ears.

"You can't run. You can't hide"

I gulped but kept running hoping it wouldn't catch me.

"You can't run. You can't hide" the voice repeated.

I looked forward towards Ghost and gulped. "Ghost..." I whispered.

"I hear it too Johnny just keep running" he replied.

He grabbed my wrist and pushed me into a green light and everything faded to white...
