-Ghosts pov-

I woke up to see that soap was already awake and sitting at his desk writing in his journal. That's when I noticed he was bouncing his leg.

Oh God his ADHD...

"Soap? You okay mate?" I asked him as I got up to walk over to him.  He looked up and nodded his head "I feel so great!" He got up and started to bounce on the bed. "Looooook aaaaatttt meeeeee siiiiirrr" he giggled as he bounced around. "Yeah very cool but maybe you should stop before you get hurt" I said grabbing his waist. "Noooooo" he whined. "It's not safe!" I said putting him back on the floor and holding him close so he wouldn't do it again.

I was sat in the briefing room listening to price giving the team the mission info. We were working with some recruits. I did tell price that I thought they weren't ready for this as the seemed immature as they kept giggling the whole time but price said that they performed well during selection.

Soap was sat next to me, he was clinging to my arm like a little child. I smiled under my mask. The recruits laughed at him and I gave them a warning glare but they didn't listen.

Soap lost his concentration and started to get distracted and started to zone out. Price snapped his fingers to get him to focus again. He looked up, he looked so cute. Why does he look so cute when he gets startled back to reality? Him and those beautiful doe eyes.

Price was on about what will happen once we're inside the building.

Tap. Tap. Tap

Who the fuck gave Johnny a pen??

"Johnny...pen..." I said holding my hand out for him to give me the pen. "Noh!" He said defiantly. "You know price hates the taping sound. It triggers him" I said trying to take the pen "who even gave you it?" He tried to stop me from taking the pen. "The recruits over there gave me it! Nooooo don't take it!" He whined. I managed to take the pen off him and he started to whine like a baby.

The recruits were laughing at him and it was annoying me. "Johnny" I said trying to get his attention "Johnny listen your in a briefing, I know it's hard for you to concentrate but you have to try or I'll have to take you out the room" I tried to claim him down but nothing was working. "I want my pen back!" He cried. "Johnny!" I called out over the sound of his cries "Jonny played calm down! Johnny listen I understand...I really do!" In reality I had no idea what was happening but I was trying to understand as best I could "Johnny...I know you want to fidget with something...fidget with my hands" this seemed to calm him down and he grabbed my hand and started to play around with it.

The recruits are still laughing...shut them up...

Fucking recruits. They won't stop laughing at Soap. I want to throw a table at them. Soap was tugging at my mask and he had a small smile in his face.

Tug. Tug. Tug.

"Hehe..." I chuckled as he tugged at my mask causing my head to dip down a bit "Johnny...what are you doing?" He giggled a bit and kept tugging. I heard laughing and saw the recruits mimicking Soap.

"Johnny" I whispered "let's go to my room" but Soap didn't want to move so he just sat down pulling me with him. I let out a soft chuckle. "Sir why do you not take your mask off" he asked softly. "You know why Johnny" I replied "it's to hide my face". He laughed "you should take it off more." I laughed at him "nah I think I'll keep it on the majority of the time"

Tug. Tug. Tug

"Johnny..." I whispered "please stop now" He laughed and I couldn't help but blush. "But sir I want to see your face.

Tug. Tug. Tug. Tug.

"Johnny" I huffed "stop for the love of God" he giggled at me. "Yeah Johnny stop it" one of the recruits mocked. I heard Soap fall silent and anger started to boil. "Jeez how did someone like you get in the team" another laughed. "Do you even have ADHD or do you just do it for the lieutenant's attention?" A female recruit said.

"Johnny" I said trying to get his attention "just ignore them they aren't worth it". The recruits laughed "awh does ickle baby Johnny need a dummy?" One mocked. "Awh he's never going to get a girlfriend" the girl laughed.

I gritted my teeth and grabbed Soap's wrist. "He doesn't need a girlfriend he has me so why don't you fuck off before I shoved your head into a fuckin wall." I growled at them.

"Lt what happened during the briefing?" Soap asked. I didn't listen I just kept dragging him with me. I hate these dark dingy corridors. We were in one of the older buildings that never get used.

Picked him up and cradled him. "If those recruits don't shut up I swear to god I'll make their lives miserable" I growled.

Me and Soap were trying to train the recruits but Soap kept getting distracted by the military dogs that would occasionally wander in.

"Look at the Sargent, how did he get past the selection?" A recruit laughed. "Ooooooooo doggo!" Soap  exclaimed. I chuckled "go pet it while I sort something out" I whispered to him. Soap then ran to the dog to play with it.

I walked over to the recruit and grabbed him by his shirt and lifted him off the floor. "I am done with your bullshit first you make fun of him during the briefing now you do it while you're training? Do you ever know when to shut the fuck up!" I shouted at him "he has ADHD but he's one of the best soldiers in the team, and you will never be as good as him and frankly I'm kicking you off the mission" I paused to think of something else "you will be cleaning the medical wing for three weeks" I commanded. The recruit nodded looking terrified.

Once the recruit left I went to Soap and picked him up and took him to my room. I sat him on my bed and I massaged his shoulders gently. I let out a sigh. "You okay Johnny?" I asked him softly. "I feel tired now" he yawned. I chuckled, of course..

I kissed his neck and worked my way to his lips. He moaned softly into the kiss but I couldn't feel him falling asleep. He was kissing me back but the kiss was getting weaker by the second.

I kissed him until he was asleep then I pulled away. "Sweet dreams Johnny"
