"Kira...I don't understand—why are you doing this?" Jaehyun said, stress evident as his eyebrows furrowed. He took a step closer towards her, hands reaching out to grasp her arms but she only took a step further back.
"I'm sorry—"
"Sorry isn't going to cut it Kira...we have kids together" Jaehyun said, his shoulders slumping as he could feel the emotional distance between them
"Well I'm so glad you remembered, because last time I checked I was the one who was looking after them alone for the past couple of weeks—"
"Because I was travelling for work Kira! This is my career—"
"And this is your family!" She shouted back finally, losing her temper. Jaehyun ran a hand through his hair tiredly, looking back over his shoulder to make sure Jihye hadn't woken up and stood by the door of the living room during their argument
"Listen I understand that things have been hard but...can't we just—let's just try again alright?" Jaehyun asked approaching her again but she only took a step further back making his heart sink
"I'm done trying Jaehyun...It's too much—I just...I want a divorce" Kira said firmly, crossing her arms over her chest as tears threatened to spill from her lower lash line
"Why can't we work this out like we always do?" Jaehyun asked, his voice cracking at the sound of her words hitting him harder than he had expected
"Because this is all just some sick joke playerhyuck decided to pull on her readers for april fools day" Kira replied, shrugging her shoulders as she walked away from him.
