"They said they're sitting on the third row" Kai said, motioning his eyes to the front of the lecture hall as he dragged his sister into one of his lectures to avoid walking in late by himself. Kai was clearly the more socially anxious one out of the two.
"Why are they sitting so close to the front?" She asked fearing that the professor might notice that she wasn't a finance student, opting for a few rows behind her friend group.
"Yeah good call, he spits when he talks" Kai said about his professor softly, making sure to not disrupt the class that had already started before sliding into the seat beside her.
"Dude I'm literally starving" Kira said, taking out her phone and going straight onto uber eats to find something to satiate her rumbling stomach. She was internally regretting deciding to come and sit in this lecture instead of just going to get a sandwich.
"There's a new Chinese restaurant that opened up across the river, me and Krit were thinking of checking it out" Kai said and she nodded, opening up their groupchat.

"Y'all seriously couldn't have waited like five minutes?" Haerin said, walking into the restaurant with her hair damp from the rain spell that came out of nowhere
"Hey!! So glad the wet dog could finally join us" Kai shouted with a smile, only to get hit by Haerin in return
"You should be more prepared in this weather" Kira said, patting the girl's head to get rid of the rain droplets as Haerin scowled a little at her friends for leaving class early without waiting for her.
"Anyway, back to what you were saying" Taehyun said, ushering Kai to keep talking.
"Yeah so basically we've been texting ever since the party, which was like two weeks ago, and everything we talk about is so superficial and surface level" As Kai kept rambling on about the girl that had caught his eye recently, Haerin nudged Kira and raised her eyebrow looking for context.
"Kai's been texting this girl from uni but he's being friendzoned" she said, taking a sip of the soup that she ordered
"Excuse me, I'm not being friendzoned, I'm just taking things slow-"
"Girl be so for real right now" Eunhye said to Kai, a 22 year old adult male, making him blink twice in confusion
"What's wrong with taking it slow? I don't want her to think I'm weird!" He exclaimed
"Yeah dude just take it day by day...and you'll be more closer to abstinence than you ever were" Kira said rolling her eyes making the girls snicker.
"How typical, you guys seriously know nothing about women" Haerin said, shaking her head
"Yeah the girl's literally doing her masters, you think she wants to waste her time with a talking stage? Be a man and ask her out on a date" Eunhye said and the girls hummed in agreement
"I know..women" Kai said, but his voice wasn't as confident as his words affirmed
"The only woman you really know is your sister and she's practically a 7 year old boy" Taehyun snickered, but fell quiet shortly after the glare Kira had given him
"Dude come one, low blow. Its not her fault she's flat" Haerin said
"Pipe down girl you literally look like a mused tampon with that hair" Kira said, defending herself as she pulled on her Haerin's dadk red strands playfully
"Come on girls, let's not fight! How about you both kiss each other and make up" Taehyun said with a smirk and Eunhye smacked the back of his head
"Gross dude, I'm literally eating!" Kai said, whining as gis appetite disappeared at the slight thought of his sister making out with someone
"Oh shit, I gotta go" Kira said, looking at her phone and realising she had to leave now if she wanted to catch the subway to go babysit Jihye on time.
"See ya" She said, hurriedly rushing but still managing to steal one of Taehyun's bean buns as she put on her coat.
"Pay for me, you owe me" Kira said and Kai scoffed
"You owe me!" He shouted, slamming his chopsticks down onto the table
"Well I could've swallowed you when we were in the womb together but I didn't so yeah, you owe me" She said, scurrying off as he rolled his eyes in dismay.
