Destiny sat in her room looking at apartments on her laptop, smoking a blunt as euphoria played on her tv.
"Ouuu this one's niceeee" she said looking at the pictures the website provided.
She took a pull from her blunt before hearing a knock on her door. She hurried and ashed the blunt and sprayed some perfume.
"Come in!"
The door opened revealing Jayden.
"Hey Jay" she said with a smile.
"It smells like weed and perfume in hea', you was smoking?" He asked laying on her bed.
"Mhm, I didn't know if it was my mom"
"Ya' mova weird ta' me" he said causing her to furrow her eyebrows.
"Huh?"
"She'on like me or sum cause she ain't even wanna let me in da door" he mumbled.
"She don't like you, you got her son arrested" she stated the obvious fact. Her mother never liked Jayden, something rubbed her the wrong way about him.
"Shut the fuck up" he said squeezing m
Her side tightly.
"Okay I'm sorry" I said hoping he would loosen his grip.
"Where did you go the other day? You left so urgently"
"Family emergency" he said. There was some truth in his statement, the truth was that he had a family emergency but it wasn't the emergency she was thinking.
"Oh no is your mom okay?" She asked in a concerned tone.
"Yea she coolin'—she fell" he lied.
"Oh no, I'll call her later"
"Youn got to but aye can we fuck" he asked.
"I don't feel like it" she spoke.
He smacked his lips, "you never feel like it, you weird to a nigga too"
"I'm not I just don't wanna have sex" she said, "if anything you weird to me"
"The fuck you say?" He uttered aggressively grabbing her sew-in.
"Jayden let me go"
"Nah since you wanna be smart and shit" he said unbuckling his belt with his other hand, "when gon' fuck and you gon' like it"
"Jayden I said no" destiny said smacking him.
Jayden sat there with an unreadable expression on his face causing destiny to get anxious. She didn't know what he was doing to do.
Suddenly and know sounded on her door making Destiny snap back into reality.
"Yes!" She called out.
The door opened revealing her mother, "hey baby"
Hi mommy" Destiny smiled.
"Jayden" Ronda blankly spoke to her daughter's boyfriend.
Jayden didnt even responded to her mother making an awkward silence fall over everyone.
"What's wrong mom?" Destiny spoke up.
"Nothing, I was just checking on you and uh seeing if yall were good"
Destiny slightly smiled, "yes we're good, thanks for checking in on us mom"
Ronda looked at Jayden before looking at her daughter and nodding, "I'm downstairs if you need me destiny"
