March 18th 2023"Di i missed you!" I said hugging my brother as soon as he walked in the house.
"Damn you ain't never this happy when I walk in da' door" he chuckled hugging me back.
"Shut up—I'm happy you're back, they didn't do nothing to you in there right?"
Dion smacked his teeth, "yo ass always ruin everything" he said walking further in the house. I seen jeezy standing outside the door looking directly in my eyes.
"Hey" I smiled weakly. We hadn't talked or seen eachother since the incident with Jayden.
Jayden beat my ass so bad that day I couldn't get up the next two days.
He nodded his head in response making my smile drop. He walked past me and went into the living room.
I frowned because we have slowly become friends and he just acted like he didn't know me.
"Hey what's going on?" I asked grabbing his arm, stopping him.
"Nun I'm chillin'"
"Why are you acting like you don't know me anymore?"
"Cause it's not my place ta' know you, you gotta man and I respect that" he said.
"Wait is that what this is about? You knew I was in a relationship"
"Exactly so ima back off and stay in my lane" he said pulling away from me and continuing to walk.
I sighed, thinking over my life choices. Do I loose a good friend who I just met and has been there for me. Or do I loose my first everything, the one who has my heart.
I walked into the living room, seeing my mother and Dion hugging. I look down at the couch seeing jeezy on his phone.
"I missed you so much son" she said with tears in her eyes.
"I missed you too ma" he said pulling away, "don't cry ma" he said.
"Shut up—I'll cry if I want to"
"Aye tell me why I seen yo' baby dad in dere'" Dion said making her chuckle and hit his shoulder.
"Leave your father alone" my mother said turning to jeezy, "come here"
Jeezy got up and stood in front of my mom, waiting for to say something. My mother crashed her body into his before wrapping her arms around his body.
"Thank you for getting my son out" she said as she hugged him, "he didn't belong in there and you got him out" she said pulling away.
"I ain't do much" jeezy spoke.
"You did a lot and I thank you for it" my mom smiled.
"It ain't nothing—ima head out tho', it was nice knowing yall tho'" jeezy said walking towards the door.
"Wait you're leaving?" I finally speak.
"Yea—he out, ion need to be hea' no more"
"No stay—I'm cooking Dion's favorite, have some"
"Nah I should go"
"No please, this is the least I could do for you helping us" my mother insisted.
"Igh" jeezy said before sending a text message on his phone. Dion went upstairs to get cleaned up and my mom started on dinner. So it was just me and jeezy in the living room.
"Jeezy" I called.
"Hm"
"I dont know what to do" I said feeling myself get sad.
