"Can you pass me the remote?" Destiny asked ja'rod.
"You'on wanna watch straight outta Compton?" He chuckled passing her the remote.
"I'm from Compton—I've seen this movie more times than I blink in a year, so no I don't wanna see it"
Ja'rod bit his lips as he watched her scroll through the movies. They were at his house chilling because they both had the day off. She had on a tank top and his boxers that were now hers.
"You look good in my shit" he mumbled kissing her neck.
"Ouuuu let's watch this" she said turning on the movie.
Ja'rod looked at the screen seeing it was the lion king before smacking his lips.
"I'm not watching this shit again"
She straight faced him, "but you'll watch straight outta Compton again"
"Yea cause it's better than the lion king"
Destiny gasped and stood up, "don't you ever disrespect the lion king like that or we gonna have a problem"
"Whatchu gon' do?"
She turned around from him and continued to watch the movie. A few minutes passed making ja'rod realize she was giving him the silent treatment.
He checked his phone, reading the message that his tech man sent him before speaking up.
"Destiny"
"..."
Ja'rod smacked his teeth, "igh ion care but ima see you later, if you still here"
Destiny watched as he stood up before speaking, "you leaving?"
"Yea" he walked to his room causing Destiny to follow him.
"Well where are you going?"
"I got sum' ta' handle" he said putting on his black Nike tech.
"Something likeeeee—"she trailed off.
"Destiny"
She sighed, "I know you're trying to keep me and your work apart"
Ja'rod looked at her as he tied his shoes, "come here" he sat up.
She stood in between his legs. His hands automatically went to her thighs.
"I'm not doing nothing wrong, I'm just gettin' some info from my guy" he reassured her.
"Okay" she said softly.
"You'on gotta worry"
"Okay" she said as they walked to the front door.
"You saying here?"
"Yea"
"Igh see you mama" he kissed her forehead.
"please god let him be safe" she said to herself watching him walk to his car.

"Aye nigga I got some beef witchu" noodle said when see saw me.
I looked at him with a resting mug on my face seeing him eats some zebra cakes.
"What?"
"I got" he took a bite, "some beef witchu"
