Destiny sighed, "I don't know"
"You can't just give up—I've seen the way that he treats you and the way you two are together, this is worth fighting for"

"Stop comparing this relationship to your last one—and stop comparing ja'rod and Jayden, they are not the same men"
Destiny felt herself getting irritated. She licked her dry lips before speaking, "okay mom I'll call you later"
"Dest—" Ronda was saying before Destiny pressed the 'end call' button.
She checked the time, reading it before she stood up and began getting ready to go out with her friends.

"What Kaiser?" Ja'rod asked as they pulled up to Monica's house.
"When is lil bro coming?"
"You wanna know sum crazy—he ain't coming no more"
"But I thought I was getting a sibling"
"They changed their mind, so they not coming anymore"
"That's a little rude don't you think daddy" kasier spoke.
"I'm sayin' man" ja'rod chuckled.
"Igh go knock on the door"
Ja'rod grabbed Kaiser bookbag before walking up to the door seeing Monica and Kaiser talking.
"Hey ma, you igh?"
"Yes I'm great, my favorite grandson is here"
"I'm be here tomorrow round three, that cool?"
"Yes"
"You sure you feelin' good ma? Youn gotta watch 'em" ja'rod spoke to his mother. He was concerned about his mother's health.
Monica looked a little sweaty and pale, "boy yes I just have a little fever, nothing a little cool shower and medicine can't fix"
"Igh"
"Whatchu up to tonight? Got plans with destiny and my grandgirl?"
Ja'rod's blood ran cold at the mention of his dead child. He cleared his throat before speaking, "nah me and her ain't together no more"
"Ja'rod?!"
"Yea yea a lot happened" he hesitated before telling her about the baby, "and uh, we—she lost the baby"
Monica's features softened, "oh my poor baby"
"Nah ma I'm good, I got Kaiser so and I ain't physically lose the baby"
