The Eras Tour: so far a huge hit for Taylor and all the fans that attended. It was long and often left Taylor feeling exhausted but she was loving the adrenaline of being on tour again, she got such a buzz from it, she loved seeing how excited and happy her fans were, it made her remember why she kept doing what she does. However, there was someone less fond of the eras tour and that was Colette. She was young and how the idea of her mother dressing up in sparkly outfits looking like a princess every night initially excited her, she soon realised that the sight of those outfits meant her mom would be pre occupied for the evening. At first, she was just as excited as Taylor but when she learnt she wasn't able to go and actually watch her mom on stage she was upset, almost offended. She didn't understand why thousands of people got to spend the whole night with her mommy and she had to stay backstage but Taylor could not let her be seen in the crowd with her any of her team. It would become immediately obvious and her fans weren't stupid, she couldn't just dismay her daughter as being a family friend and leave it at that.

So as Taylor finished up her show in Kansas city, she couldn't wait to get back stage. Being aware that her daughter wasn't at all happy when she left 4 hours ago. So she waved and blew kisses to her fans as they cheered her into the dressing room, but Taylor's heart raced when she walked in.

" where's coco? " Taylor spoke, entering the room to see her mom looking burnt out as hell, she really did appreciate her parents constant help with her daughter

" your father took her for a little walk around back here, she's had a rough evening Taylor. I'm not sure how well she's adjusting to this routine " Andrea told her daughter truthfully, Taylor frowned, she felt guilty that something that was bringing her so much joy was upsetting her daughter

" was she not well behaved this evening then? " Taylor questioned, another layer of guilt thickening in her stomach but this time for her parents, having to deal with her distraught child

" well, she wasn't happy to say the least, just wanting her mommy. She barely ate any of the snacks you left for her and would refuse to sleep without you present " Andrea said and in that very moment, Scott returned to the dressing room with Colette, who had puffy red eyes and tear stained cheeks, but a smile soon managed to form on her face when she saw her mom

" see coco, I told you mommy was coming back " the grandfather told his granddaughter whose arms extended in her mother's direction

" hi baby, heard you were giving grandma and grandpa a hard time huh? " Taylor cooed, holding her daughter. She hadn't even gotten changed out of her midnights body suit yet

" i-i missed my mommy! " Colette whimpered, resting her head onto her mother's shoulder

" I know baby, and I'm sorry but I have to work and you can't keep being a little monster to grandma and grandpa okay? " the small girl nodded

Taylor thanked her parents who she could tell needed a well deserved rest, and Taylor got changed quickly before returning to the couch in her dressing room to feed Colette a few snacks before returning to the hotel. She didn't want her to fall asleep on an empty stomach. As Colette settled for a packet of goldfish in her mothers arms, there was a knock on the dressing room door.

" come in.. " Taylor said, the door opening to Tree

" hey Tay, so uh some players from the chiefs were here and wondered if they could come back and say hi? " tree stated, and Taylor sighed. She wanted to, she really did. She felt bad turning away fans, but she looked at Colette, playing with her goldfish and shook her head.
