Mr Alwyn, I appreciate your efforts, but caring for Colette will no longer be necessary, help yourself before you can help her. Thank you for everyone's time today " the judge spoke loud and clear, Taylor bursting into sobs as Travis comforted her, she was so happy, this was everything she had wished for, her daughter was now officially hers forever, and Joe could do absolutely nothing to change that. It was official and legal.

" oh my gosh Trav, we did it! " tears had taken over her face, Travis giving her a small smile as he not only congratulated her but told her how proud he was

" well done baby, you deserve this more than ever. Now we can be the family you both deserve " Taylor grinned at his words, placing a kiss on his lips.

Her parents were also beyond happy for this outcome as well, hugging their daughter lovingly as they knew how much this meant to her. After a few exchange of hugs, they made their way home, deciding on a celebratory meal out with the family. Travis's mom, Donna,
was in town as well, which was nice, and she kindly looked after Colette for the day, to which Taylor was incredibly grateful for. Colette loved Donna, and all of Travis's family, so she happily went off this morning barely even saying goodbye to her mom.

" ugh, I need to get these heels off, I'm gonna wear flats to the restaurant, my feet kill " Taylor complained, with a small giggle, kicking her heels off as soon as they walked into the house

" Tay, you know I was the exact same when I had Austin, he just felt so heavy, heavier than you did, I can't imagine having two of them at once " Andrea piped in, laughing along with Taylor

" i sometimes forget I've got two of them in there, but then they soon remind me by wriggling and somersaulting all over the place " Taylor chuckles, rubbing her hand over the side of her stomach as she flops on the couch for a small moment

" Tay, my mom asked shall we just meet her at the restaurant with Coco? " Travis questions, coming into the living room as he'd just been residing in the kitchen with Scott for a few minutes

" yeah makes sense " Taylor smiles, Travis nods, making his way back to the kitchen

" I'm so proud of you today honey, you deserve this so much after everything, you're an amazing mommy taylor " Andrea spoke, as Taylor felt herself tear up. Pregnancy hormones.

" thank you for saying that mom. It helps when I had someone as amazing as you to teach me. I'm so so beyond happy with the outcome today, I just can't wait to see Coco now "

The 4 of them made their way to the restaurant in the outskirts of Kansas city not long after, it was a small, intimate restaurant, where Taylor and Travis had actually shared their first date. It was unlikely people were going to spot them here, but not impossible. Although, they had security with them obviously, but Taylor didn't really care, she just wanted to celebrate today and spend time with her family. Colette came skipping towards them, and the pride Taylor felt in her heart, knowing she never had to share her baby with that man ever again, they were free.

" hi mommy!! I had such a fun day " Colette squealed, running straight into her mother's arms

" hi baby, I'm so glad you did, come sit " she helped her daughter on one of the chairs between her and her mom, Travis on the right side of her, and Donna came over. Taylor pulled her into a hug, thanking her generously for watching Colette for the day, Donna reminding her that it was never a problem.
