New Year's Day was a very relaxed one for the 3 of them, Travis slightly recovering from a few too many drinks the night before. However, he was feeling better now the day after, and even more so because they were going to view some houses to potentially buy together. Of course, Taylor would still keep her various other homes, but this one would be where they'd now spend the majority of their time. They started on a home in the suburbs of Kansas city, where it was rather secluded and peaceful, it was 6 bedroom, 3 story house with a soft character to it. Taylor liked a home that was maybe slightly more old fashioned, she wasn't fussed on these new modern looking houses, she liked ones with history and character, perhaps a fireplace or two, something that made her feel cosy and homely, like the house was actually lived in as oppose to just being for show.

This one house, definitely had character as they pulled up, a grand entrance with a double door and supporting pillars, in front of the house, in the middle of the driveway was a small water feature, something that immediately took Taylor's breath away with how sophisticated it looked. On the inside, the house sold itself completely, to the left, an entry room with a deluxe but cosy feel to it, as you made your way down, a small little room that could be used as Travis's office, maybe slightly too small for Taylor to use as a music room. To the right of the hallway, they were met with a circular staircase, that had a piano sitting at the base of it, something that again immediately sold Taylor. The interior was breathtaking and it only got better as they moved through the house, upstairs was amazing, she could already picture how she would decorate Colette's room and the twins' room when they made an arrival, there was an extraordinary master bedroom, a bed in the middle, a balcony overlooking the imposing backyard which had a pool, and was just beautifully set out. It led into an en suite, with a freestanding bathtub and a separate shower, his and hers sinks also. Not ignoring the walk in closet that was taller than Travis is shelves and storage. There was also a 3rd floor, where Taylor could have a music room if she wanted, and there would be a guest bedroom up there also. If they moved here, it would be most likely that the kids would be situated on the same floor as Taylor and Travis, just for ease. Taylor was stunned, she could picture her family here.

" you like this one baby? " Travis asked Taylor, as their realtor had left them to look around alone and discuss a little more

" oh my gosh trav, I love it, I don't even feel the need to look at any others. But it's not all about me baby, what about you? " she asked, wanting to make sure Travis was in love with it just as much as her

" it's amazing, I could picture us here " Travis says, admiring the backyard

" are we going to move here mommy, I love it!! " Colette squeals, spinning around in the middle of the huge living room

" I'm not sure baby, maybe. We all would really like to " Taylor answers

As expected, upon viewing 3 more extra houses, Taylor couldn't get the first one out of her mind, it was everything she could dream of for them, and it was so peaceful and secluded, she felt she could be safe there. As long as no one could find out the address like they had with her prior houses. And it didn't take long for the couple to sign some papers and buy the house, it just felt so right to them, so perfect. They were thankful that money wasn't really a factor they had to consider, making them very fortunate, so once the paper work got finalised, that was it. However, that could take a few weeks, even months, but their realtor assured them it would be before their new additions would be arriving which put Taylor's mind at ease. Travis was also selling his current Kansas city house, there was no need for him to own 2 homes here.
