" mommy!! Daddy!! Wake up!! " a small voice called out, padding her way into her parents room. " come on, it's mine and the twinnies birthday party " she squealed, clambering up to the end of the bed and crawling between the two of them.

" coco darling, it's too early " Taylor groaned, feeling the excitement her daughter was trying to contain

" no mommy, my clock turned orange, so that means it's morning and time to wake up " Colette commented. Travis and Taylor had bought her a special clock so she knew when it was appropriate to get up: it turned orange when it was past 7am and anytime before that it would be dark blue. It seemed to help her grasp the concept of time a little bit better as she was no longer waking them up thinking it was morning when it was really 3am.

A few days ago, they had celebrated Colette's 6th birthday as well as 6 days prior Noah and Knox's 1st birthday and since their birthdays were all within a week of each other, the family decided that today they would throw a joint party for all 3 of them so family and friends didn't have to make two separate trips.

" coco girly, let's leave mommy to rest and we'll go make some breakfast huh? " Travis suggested as Colette eagerly nodded, jumping out of bed with Travis.

Before they could head downstairs, they were interrupted by the faint cries of the newly one year olds, calling out for Taylor as they were huge mommy's boys. Travis joked that they probably couldn't even care if he was around or not, they were all about mommy, she HAD to do everything, even if she wasn't there, they couldn't settle for just him. Entering their room, it was Knox who was crying, he was the biggest crier out of the two, Noah was just sat playing with his feet in his crib, not too phased with wanting to get out just yet. Noah was also more compromising with Travis, and would put up with his dad if he had to, but Knox, being away from Taylor was like asking him to survive without air, he couldn't grasp it.

" morning little dudes, you guys hungry huh? You wanna get out? " Travis cooed at them, Noah's head darted up, hearing his voice as he pulled his paci from his mouth ready to babble something

" mama? " Noah questioned, tilting his head to the side adorably and Travis couldn't help but laugh

" sorry bud, mama's sleeping, dada's here though " he lifted the infant from his crib

" dada " Noah sighed, resting into Travis's chest. He was the easy one to situate, letting his diaper be changed.

" Knoxie, you wanna go get some breakfast? " Travis asked him, holding his free hand out to the baby to offer to pick him up, he was still whining in his crib, paci gripped between his teeth

" mamama " Knox cried, rubbing his eyes with his hands

" mama is sleeping little dude " he explained, pulling the one year old into his arms anyway, to rest next to his brother

The 4 of them headed downstairs, Travis immediately placing both boys in their high chairs after he'd changed Knox' diaper and he placed some squashed blueberries on their trays for them to play around with and maybe eat whilst he focused on cooking breakfast with Colette.

" so girly, what breakfast do you want? "

" cinnamon rolls!! " Colette said, pulling herself up a chair so she could be the perfect height for the counter top
