" coco darling, you gotta get up for school sweet girl " Taylor attempts to coax the sleeping child, but to no avail, receiving nothing but a soft groan and a yawn, her eyes still remaining tightly shut. " come on sweetheart, you love school huh? " she rubs Colette's back, a futile effort to try and wake her up gently

" stay home mommy " was the soft mumble that could be heard, as Taylor frowned, unsure as to why Colette didn't want to go to school

" you can't stay home baby, you gotta go to school, you love it, remember you get to do painting today? You love painting, maybe you can make me something to bring home later, yeah? " Taylor hoped with the mention of her favourite activity, it would motivate Colette to perhaps get up, but it didn't, it did quite the opposite, her lip wobbling as tears threatened to roll down her freckled cheeks. " oh sweetheart, don't cry. Come here " Taylor pulled the 6 year old into her arms, hugging her as well as she could around her 32 week bump, which was marginally large. Taylor stroked the soft blonde locks of the girl, trying to comfort her. " can you tell mommy why you don't wanna go? Or if you don't want to tell me, you can tell daddy? I can't help you if I don't know baby "

" just want to stay home " Colette trembled, still crying " I wanna cuddle daddy " she muttered as Taylor sighed, trying not to take it personally, straightening up and telling Colette she'd go and get him

" oh hey girly, what's with the tears? " Travis questioned entering the room after Taylor had told him the situation, Colette didn't answer, she just held her arms up signalling she wanted to be held, which Travis couldn't help but give in to, pulling her up into his arms. " mommy's cuddles just not good enough? " he joked, trying to lighten the mood

" baby sister in the way " Colette hiccuped, resting her head on his shoulder as he rubbed her back

They stayed like that for a while, Colette's tears softly subsiding, but not for long when Travis mentioned having breakfast so she wasn't late and to her upset, he took her down despite her plead not to, placing her at the table. Taylor was down in the kitchen, making her and Travis a drink, the twins running around aimlessly with various different toys. Taylor softened a look at Travis when he sighed, leaving Colette crying at the table, they both were slightly unsure how to handle it, especially when she wouldn't tell them what the matter was.

" coco would you like fruit loops for breakfast, a little treat? Or we could do some granola, you like that, with the fruit? " Taylor suggested, giving Colette the option to choose, hoping it would cheer her up, but she didn't answer and Taylor gave her a moment, but when it still remained silent, she just decided for her, pouring the granola into a bowl, topping it with yogurt and fruit. She handed it to Colette, with a glass of apple juice.

" hi swissy " Noah said sweetly, running over to the table where Colette was sat, his paci clutched between his teeth, they adored Colette, and usually she adored them too, but she was proving that maybe she didn't so much today.

" go away " she shouted a little, causing Noah to cry, not liking being swatted away by his sister.

" hey buddy, come here, sissy is a little sad today, are you hungry? Do you want some breakfast? " Travis picked the toddler up, and he vigorously nodded to wanting some breakfast, little tears streaming from his eyes.
