Their vacation was one of wonders. The well deserved relaxing week away, they'd swam with water pigs and Colette had the best time, feeding them carrots and Taylor was sure she was going to need to get a photo album for all the adorable photos they took that day, as well as the ones from the whole week. They were heading into their last day on the trip. The bittersweet feeling. Little did Taylor know, it may just be the best day of the whole trip, and possibly even her whole life apart from having Colette, Noah and Knox.
Travis woke up early, to the sound of the twins stirring, hot Cuban sun poking its way through the cream curtains. He was prompt with pulling himself up out of bed before they woke up Taylor, whom was still deep in slumber. He expertly grabbed them, both under one arm; he'd become a pro at the twin carry and his arm strength meant he could withstand it for a long period of time. They weren't exactly impressed that it was their dad getting them up and not their mom, but they'd have to put up with it. Travis took them downstairs to the kitchen in their villa, grabbing two bottles that Taylor had pumped and he set them up on the couch, holding a bottle to each one of their mouths. Travis was pretty damn good at feeding them both at the same time, he had mastered the art of it and it limited all screams of frustration from the one who wasn't getting fed. Soon enough, they were fed and content, Knox falling back asleep and Noah occupied with his pacifier. Travis started on some breakfast, pancakes, bacon and various different fruits. They had such exotic fruits out here and Colette had taken a huge liking to them. Colette woke up just as Travis began to serve the food, clearly excited to start the day off right.
" morning Coco, I'm going to go wake mommy, and then we can eat okay " Travis told colette, receiving an eager nod from her before she took her place at the table
Travis took a steaming mug of coffee up to Taylor, placing it down before stroking her back lovingly as it was exposed out of the bed covers: she'd clearly gotten too hot to remain under them. It took a few strokes down her back, but she soon was startled, turning to face her boyfriend with a small smile. Once there had been an exchange of kisses, she delicately pulled herself up out of bed, tying on her silk robe before following Travis down the stairs.
" hii mommy!! " Colette grinned, waiting oh so patiently in front of the food
" morning my baby girl, you hungry huh? " Taylor giggled, taking a chair next to her so they could all tuck into their food.
They ate up, all hungry and in need of big appetites for the day: a beach one. Although they really enjoyed the pool and it was more accessible for the twins to have their little bodies cooled off in the arms of their parents, they had a private beach here too and wanted to make the most of it today. Taylor got herself dressed into a white bikini, with a spaghetti tie at the back and white bottoms and she got Colette into a pink, swimsuit with blue and white shells all over. Travis wore muted orange swim shorts and when the boys woke up, Taylor had them little full body swimsuits, sun guards that would help to protect them from the blazing sun, as well as the sun hats that they weren't really a fan of. They packed a few bags to take, towels, sun lotions, water bottles, snacks, you name it, they had it. Yes the private beach was not far from the door of the villa, it was just easier to have it all with them rather than making multiple trips back and fourth.
They took pitch about half way down the beach, near to the sea but not so close that when the tide came in it was going to get them wet. Putting up a small umbrella for shade for the twins as well as a couple of towels in the sun in case Taylor actually got the silence and chance to read her book and tan, unlikely but a girl can manifest and dream.
