𝐒𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧

Today was New Years Eve, Taylor and Colette had just flown to Kansas city where taylor would be attending a game today and she was braving taking Colette. This could either be the first and last time she did, or the first of many times to come, she had to trial it some time especially if they were going to move here. The morning had started pretty slowly, as it was Sunday and the game wasn't till this afternoon, Taylor had gotten herself ready, in a long sleeve black shirt with black jeans, that she could just about fit into now with the small bump of hers, she threw on one of Travis's white, oversized chiefs embroidered jackets and before they leave she was was going to wear black heeled ankle boots. Colette was wearing little denim jeans with a red sweater and she would have little black boots too. Her hair in a little bun with a red clip on top. Colette could barely contain her excitement for today, Taylor had left it as long as possible to tell her as she knew she wouldn't be able to stay still for the rest of the day when she found out. Which is exactly what Taylor was experiencing now, trying to wrangle a highly excited 4 year old to eat some breakfast before the day started. Realistically, she should've had her eat before she got dressed, because it was inevitable she was going to get messy but unfortunately Taylor didn't really think that through when she got her ready this morning.

" coco, mommy needs you to sit still and eat some of your bagel please, otherwise you are going to get your pretty jumper messy " Taylor urged the child, who was about to protest

" I'm not hungry mommy, my tummy is excited and can't fit any food in it " Colette tried to explain to her mother, but Taylor knew that not eating wasn't a good way to start the day, especially for an active 4 year old but she also couldn't force her if she didn't want to

" just have a few bites please baby, otherwise you're gonna get hungry later " Taylor cut the bagel into smaller pieces, hoping that she could get Colette to digest at least a few of them. And thankfully she did, only 2 of them, but Taylor was happy to take any she could get.

Colette ran off after taylor had wiped her sticky hands, waltzing around Travis's living room in excitement who obviously was not home since he had to get some last minute training in before the game. Taylor furrowed her eyebrows at the child, hoping that she didn't do any damage with how vociferous she was being this morning. Fortunately for Taylor, she settled down on the floor not long after, as she was out of breathe from the non stop movement she had been doing since 7am. They had to be at the game at around 12pm, meaning it was unlikely they were going to have lunch before. Taylor would have easily just let Colette pick some food when they got to the stadium to eat, but Colette was slightly picky. She would try everything handed to her, but that doesn't mean she liked all of it and considering she barely ate any breakfast, Taylor thought the safest option would to take her lunch, that way Taylor could put in things she knew she'd like and with a bit of hope, actually eat.

It was almost time to leave, so Taylor got their shoes on and threw a coat on Colette, and she got them all into the car. Her security was driving them, just to be on the safe side. It wasn't far from Travis's house to the stadium, and they were there pretty quick. Although, Taylor could see some paparazzi waiting for her to get out and she felt sick as this would not only be the first time Colette would have ever been seen but also her first time being seen after they announced her pregnancy. Taylor was starting to regret ever coming and ever bringing Colette, but they were here now and she couldn't let Travis down. She got herself out the car first, throwing her bag with Colette's things in over her shoulder before making her way to Colette's side of the car who was sat contently in her car seat, playing with her blanket and bunny.
