"Why I can't get a hold of you?" Red didn't say hello or anything as soon as Miah picked up his calls. "I've been calling you the whole day. What's going on?"

Napapikit si Miah. "Oh, sorry. I was sleeping the whole day and naka charge ang phone ko. I'm sorry." Alibi niya.

"Oh. I see. Sorry for being paranoid. Anyway, I just got home. Mom is sleeping right now so I can't go there. Hintayin ko muna siyang magising," may namuong katahimikan sa linya. "I really miss you the whole day."

"I miss you too..." she don't know how to talk to Red in a normal way dahil sa nangyari maghapon.

She felt guilty. Wala man lang kaalam-alam si Red sa nangyari maghapon. She left his mother nang ito'y tuluyan nang makapag pahinga dahil sa ganap na nangyari sa Ginang at sa bestfriend nito.

Miah also felt tired. But she don't know kung mentally or physically. But it seems both. She worries too much. What will happen sa susunod na mga araw? She's worrying about Red. She's wondering what Red would feel once he finally knows everything. Parang siya ang masasaktan para dito.

She prayed for the best things for Red. She believes in Red. He might get hurt at first but she's hoping that everything will be alright.

Bumalik ang ulirat niya nang may mag doorbell. It might be Red? Ang bilis naman ata nito? And when she opened the gate, a tall man who also the same height as Red is in front of her.

"Thomas?" she gasp. Ano'ng ginagawa nito rito?

"Hey. I apologized for coming here without informing you in advance." Thomas smiled awkwardly.

Tiningnan ni Miah ang hawak nito, "What's that?"

"Pasalubong? I don't want to go here empty handed." Inabot nito ang hawak nitong maliit na box ng cake. Not flowers or other stuff anymore.

It's not nice to talk at the door with a guest kaya niluwagan niya ang gate. "Come in."

Thomas smiled and they went inside. "Mabilis lang ako, I might die if ever Red saw me here."

They both sat in the living room.

"What's up, Thomas?" she just casually ask after she puts the coffee. She knows that this man likes coffee kaya 'di na niya ito tinanong. Way back when he's still courting her, madalas itong magyaya sa coffee shop kung hindi naman ay sa mall or mga amusement park. Just a typical date.

As she observing him, he seems changed. Not only physically, but his aura and attitude. Might be some rock finally hit his head para magbago na ang personality nito. He looks calm, firm and proper. Nawala na ang narcissist aura nito. He looks... soft?

"I'm doing alright. I've started to train on how to handle our businesses. We're both graduating next year right?" casual din nitong tanong. Thomas is rich. But he has to work with his family's business because he is the only heir. Lucky bastard.

"Yeah, I still don't know what will I do after graduation." Aniya. Sa totoo lang, her main goal is to get a job after graduation. But lately, distracted siya sa mga nangyayari.

Tumango-tango si Thomas. "You can work under me." Offer nito. Ngiting-ngiti pa. "Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm just giving you a nice offer. It still up to you."

"Thank you." She just smiled. "Bakit ka napa-uwi bigla? You haven't been here since... you know."

Bumuntong hininga si Thomas at tumango-tango.

"I know I've been a jerk before but I realized my mistakes now. I'm sorry, Miah. I'm sorry about what happened before. I also want to say sorry for Red because he's been my best buddy for a long time and just because of my jealousy ay nasira ang lahat. I still want to save our friendship..."
