Rituals, a dance of life,
A melody that cuts like a knife.
A rhythm that we all must keep,
A beat that never seems to sleep.
The morning sun that wakes us up,
The coffee cup that fills our cup.
The shower that we take each day,
The clothes we wear, the words we say.
The journey to our work or school,
The things we do, the things we fool.
The people that we meet each day,
The things we learn, the things we say.
The lunch we eat, the break we take,
The moments that we all must make.
The things we do to pass the time,
The things we do to make life rhyme.
The journey back to our own home,
The things we do when we're alone.
The dinner that we all must share,
The things we say, the things we care.
The rituals that we all must keep,
The beat that never seems to sleep.
The dance of life that we must live,
The melody that we all must give.
