Grandpas are a special kind,
Of love that's hard to find,
With gentle smiles and loving eyes,
They always make our hearts arise.
They tell us stories of their youth,
Of adventures and of truth,
Of struggles and of triumphs won,
And memories that can never be undone.
They teach us lessons that we'll keep,
And secrets that they've learned to reap,
About the world and all its ways,
And how to live our lives in grace.
Grandpas give the best advice,
And always make things seem so nice,
They have a way of calming fears,
And drying up our tears.
With their wrinkled hands and loving touch,
Grandpas show us oh so much,
Of what it means to live a life,
Full of love and free from strife.
So let us cherish our grandpas true,
For they are blessings, through and through,
And though they may be gone someday,
Their love and memories will always stay.
