To have your heart ripped out,
Of your body and have it shattered are two different feelings.
The first one is a simple,
Pain a quick motion then it's over.
The other one is done over time,
Slowly ever so little.
You think I'm talking about a heart break?
Well I'm not,
I'm talking about words and actions.
We say and do to people we love and care about,
Sometimes we don't realize we're doing it.
Could be the little things we do,
Like the "harmless" words.
You don't realize that those harmless words hurt,
But they do because they hit your heart.
You don't realize it hurts,
Until your brain starts to overthink about it.
And think about it,
And think about it.
Then finally shatters your heart,
And your left motionless and alone.
Just trying to figure out,
How the hell you're going to fit it...Again.
