Anger, oh anger, what a raging fire,
It burns within, a deep desire,
To lash out, to strike out,
To let it all go, to scream and shout.
Anger can grip us, and hold us tight,
A consuming force, a blinding light,
It can drive us to act in ways,
That we never thought we would display.
It can make us say things, we don't really mean,
Hurtful words, that cut like a scene,
It can make us do things, we later regret,
Actions that we can't easily forget.
But anger can also be a force for good,
A catalyst for change, that we never thought we could,
It can give us strength, to stand up and fight,
For what we believe in, for what is right.
It can motivate us, to make a difference,
To stand up for ourselves, to break our silence,
It can be the spark, that lights the way,
To a better tomorrow, a brand new day.
So anger, oh anger, it's up to you,
To decide what you want to do,
To be a force for good, or a cause for harm,
To be a shining light, or a raging storm.
