The roots that dig into the earth,

The trunk that rises to the sky,
The way that we can all defy.
The branches that reach out so wide,
The way that we can all abide.
The leaves that dance in the wind,
The way that we can all rescind.
Deeply rooted, a soul that thrives,
A spirit that never fades or dies.

So let us learn to be like trees,
