Ian and I both feel a little nervous because the meeting is very important. We are sitting in the conference room, feeling excited and nervous. Today is the day we will talk about our project with Mr. Raven, a very important investor. Our dream? To build a fancy hotel in Switzerland, not just for money, but to make people's vacations awesome.
"Hey, Mr. Raven," I say, trying to sound confident even though I am shaking inside. "We're happy to show you our project."
Ian nods, his eyes shining with determination. "We've been working on this for three years, putting all our effort into making our dream come true."
We start telling Mr. Raven about our hotel idea. We talk about where it will be in Switzerland and what cool stuff people can do there. We show him all the plans we have made for the hotel rooms and the fun things guests can do during their stay.
"We think we can make a lot of money with this," Ian says confidently. "And with your help, we can make it happen."
Mr. Raven listens carefully, asking questions now and then. Despite his tough reputation, we can see he is interested in what we have to say. He wants to know more about how we will make people want to come to our hotel and how we plan to make the hotel even bigger in the future.
As our talk comes to an end, we wait anxiously for Mr. Raven's decision. The room is silent, and it feels like time stands still until he finally speaks.
"Very impressive," he says with a hint of admiration. "I see a lot of potential in your project, and I'm curious to see where it could go."
We can't believe it! Mr. Raven likes our idea! Ian and I share a relieved smile, feeling like we have won a big victory.
With a firm handshake, Mr. Raven agrees to help us make our dream hotel a reality. We are thrilled and grateful for his support.
And so, with Mr. Raven on our team, our dream of building a luxury hotel in Switzerland is closer than ever. It is a sign that hard work and believing in yourself can make anything possible.
As we leave the room, Ian and I are both very delighted for finally getting the project. We head to my cabin when Ian suggests, "How about we both celebrate this project together and go for some drinks at the club? It's the weekend, after all." I agree with him. After discussing our plans to meet tonight at the club, I decide to visit Grandma.
I enter the flower shop to buy a bouquet of sunflowers for my grandmother; sunflowers were her favorite flowers. I ask the florist for the bouquet of sunflowers, and he gives me a beautiful one. When I was in my teenage years, she always mentioned how my grandfather would bring sunflowers to her every weekend. I remember how much my grandparents loved each other, though my grandfather died very early because of cancer. After paying for it, I head to the hospital.
