I am sitting in the hospital's lounge room, waiting for the time when I can see my grandmother. I am very upset with Dr. Vincent because he let Estella take part in the surgery. While I am lost in my thoughts, someone sits beside me. I notice it is Ian. He gives me a coffee and pats my shoulder. Ian is the only one here with me.

Even my parents did not come for my grandmother's surgery. For them, their business is more important. They are always busy with their business and charity events. I feel so much anger at them. For them, it is always business, business, business. There is nothing like family for them.
I have decided that after my grandmother gets better, I will spend all my time with her. Ian asks me what happened and why I am so upset. I explain everything that happened in the surgery room. Even though I tried so hard to not let Estella take part in the surgery, she still did. Ian, you know she is the reason why my grandmother is in this condition.
Ian tries to comfort me. He says that whatever happened in the surgery was just an accident and I should think about how they were able to save my grandmother and that the surgery was successful. He tells me not to think about Estella and to focus on the positive things.
We both wait in the lounge. After an hour, a nurse comes and tells me that I can see my grandmother, but only one person is allowed. Ian nods his head and tells me that he will wait for me here.
I leave with the nurse towards the ICU. I wear a mask and see my grandmother from a distance because I am not allowed to go near her. She needs proper hygiene and care.
I feel emotional after seeing my grandmother. After 20 minutes, I come back to the lounge area and find Ian, but he seems distracted and is looking in a particular direction. I ask him what happened, and he says nothing.
Ian mentions that we should leave because visiting hours are over. I nod my head, and we both leave the hospital.
Ian's Pov
I am sitting in the lounge area of the hospital. Alaric has gone to see our grandmother in the ICU, and I decide to check my emails while waiting. I am looking at my phone when I hear someone say, "Good evening, Dr. Estella." I look up and see a doctor checking some files. It's Estella! I can't believe she's here.
I walk towards her with hesitant steps and call out, "Estella?" She turns towards me, a look of confusion on her face. I ask her, "Do you remember me?" She shakes her head no. I feel a bit silly, how could she remember me after all this time? I introduce myself again, "I'm Ian." Her face changes to recognition, and she smiles at me.
I ask her how she is doing. When she says she's doing well, I tell her I'm happy for her because she accomplished her goal of becoming a doctor. I feel proud of her. I give her a hug.
She asks what I am doing in the lounge area and if I am alright. That's typical of Estella; she always cares for her loved ones.
I tell her I'm waiting for Alaric as he went to see our grandmother. When I mention Alaric's name, Estella's expression becomes unhappy. I know about her strained relationship with Alaric.
I tell her that I understand how things are between her and Alaric right now. She asks me directly if I also think she is to blame for what happened to our grandmother. I don't have an answer for her, and I become silent. She says that my silence means I don't believe in her either, and then she leaves.
As she walks away, I think about how this incident has affected my friendships. I hope everything gets cleared up between Alaric and Estella because I can't stand to see them suffering. I believe Estella is not the culprit, there is someone else responsible, and the truth will only be revealed when our grandmother wakes up from her coma.
I am lost in these thoughts when Alaric returns. I can't tell him that I met Estella because he is in a very bad mood. We leave the hospital together.
This day has been full of emotions, and I just hope that soon everything will be okay for everyone involved.

A mysterious figure dressed in all black, with dark sunglasses shielding their eyes, quietly slips into the same abandoned house where a drunk man resides. The drunk man eagerly hands over an envelope to the mysterious figure.
With a swift movement, the mysterious figure checks the contents of the envelope. Inside, they find a piece of paper with addresses of two locations accompanied by pictures of a stunning woman.
After inspecting the contents, the mysterious figure hands a generous amount of money to the drunk man, hinting at more future tasks. Without a word, the mysterious figure exits the abandoned house and heads towards a waiting car parked nearby.
Driving through the city streets, the mysterious figure eventually arrives at a hospital. Inside, they approach the reception desk and inquire about the whereabouts of the beautiful woman mentioned in the envelope. The receptionist points them in the right direction.
Following the directions given, the mysterious figure spots the beautiful woman, none other than Estella, engaged in conversation with a man. A wave of fury washes over the mysterious figure's features, but a sinister smile plays on their lips as they swiftly exit the hospital premises.
Arriving at a luxurious penthouse, the mysterious figure enters a room adorned with numerous pictures of a man, spanning from his teenage years to adulthood. With an eerie intensity, the mysterious figure caresses the photographs, pressing their lips against them in a frenzy of obsession.
As the light in the room reveals more details, it becomes apparent that the mysterious figure is none other than Mia. Her unsettling actions hint at a dark and twisted obsession with the Alaric depicted in the photographs, setting the stage for a chilling revelation of her true intentions.
Mia strides purposefully towards a nearby table where the envelope containing Estella's photos lies. With a determined grasp, she picks up one of the photos and sets it ablaze with a lighter. Flames lick at the edges of Estella's image as Mia's eyes gleam with an intense hatred.
She begins to yell, her voice echoing off the walls of the room like that of a mad person, directing her rage towards Estella's burning picture. She curses Estella, lamenting how hard she has worked to create a divide between Alaric and Estella, only for them to reunite once more after so many years, all because of their grandmother.
"Why don't you just die?" Mia's voice trembles with fury as she addresses the image before her. "Why are you affecting my life again? Why, why, why?" Her words are laced with venom as she expresses her deep-seated loathing for Estella.
Mia's attention then shifts to Alaric's photos, and she reaches out to touch them with a chilling intensity. She speaks to the images as if they were alive, her words dripping with possessiveness and obsession.
"Alaric, you know I love you very much," Mia murmurs, her voice a mixture of affection and derangement. "And I know you love me too. But this Estella, she's so evil. She's trying to steal you away from me again. But this time, I won't let her. You're mine, Alaric. Only mine."
With each word, Mia's grip on reality seems to slip further, consumed by her irrational fixation on Alaric and her intense hatred for Estella. It's a chilling display of obsession and possessiveness that hints at darker intentions lurking beneath the surface.
