AUTHOR'S POV

Estella  is in her office, her hands shaking as she tried to tidy up her desk. She had been suspended from her job until the investigation was complete, and the shock of the false allegations still echoed in her mind.

How could someone frame her for attempting to murder Alaric's grandmother? She had never done anything bad to anyone, yet it felt like the universe was punishing her. She had borne her mother's death in a tragic accident, endured humiliation throughout high school because of Mia's incident, and now faced false accusations that Alaric himself had believed.

Sobbing softly, Estella felt the familiar tightness in her chest. Anxiety threatened to overwhelm her, pushing her towards a panic attack. She quickly opened her cupboard and grabbed her medicine.

As she held the bottle in her hand, she thought about the fleeting happiness she had felt when she had finally overcome her childhood trauma. But now, it seemed like destiny had other plans for her. She had worked so hard to build her career, and it was all slipping away.

Lost in her thoughts, Estella was startled by a knock on her door. She took a deep breath and decided not to take her medicine, she needed to try to control her anxiety without it and keep the bottle in her bag. After composing herself, she called out, "Come in."

"I've given all my cases to Dr. Edward," Estella said, her voice shaky. "And I've completed all my notes and the thesis on the upcoming surgery where I was supposed to be your assistant." She continued talking, clearing her desk and pretending not to be hurt by the incident. Dr. Vincent silently observed her, his patience wearing thin.

Finally, he couldn't hold back any longer. "Will you stop, Dr. Estella?" he shouted, his voice breaking the silence. He gently grabbed her by the shoulders, guiding her to sit down in a chair before sitting beside her. "Stop pretending you're okay. You're not."

Estella broke down, the tears she had been holding back spilling over. "I don't even have words to express how hurt I am with these allegations on myself," she sobbed.

Dr. Vincent handed her a glass of water and spoke softly. "Dr. Estella, I know you're being framed. Every staff member in this hospital knows how compassionate you are with your patients. You've worked incredibly hard to build your career and your reputation. This situation is unfair, and I understand how much it hurts.

But please remember, you are not alone in this. I promise we will find the real culprit and clear your name. We will fight this together, and I won't rest until your innocence is proven. You deserve justice, and I believe in you wholeheartedly. Stay strong, Estella. We will get through this."

With tears still in her eyes, Estella looked at Dr. Vincent. "Thank you so much for believing in me."

"Of course," Dr. Vincent replied. "We will get through this together."

Estella felt a glimmer of hope and determination. She would not let anyone ruin her career. She had worked too hard to let it all be destroyed by a false accusation. With Dr. Vincent's support, she resolved to expose the real culprit and reclaim her reputation.

IN ALARIC'S PENTHOUSE

Alaric is in his penthouse with Kevin, his assistant. He has decided to move his grandmother to his penthouse because he believes it is safe and secure. To ensure her safety, he consulted with the best doctors and hired them to care for his grandmother around the clock.

Additionally, he appointed a nurse to be available 24/7. He even installed CCTV cameras in her room because he does not want to take any risks with his grandmother's safety.
