AUTHOR'S POV
Mia was thrilled beyond words. In just a few days, she would marry Alaric, the man of her dreams. Today, she found herself in a grand wedding store, surrounded by racks upon racks of beautiful wedding gowns. The store was enormous, filled with dresses in every style and color imaginable.
However, as Mia browsed through dress after dress, her excitement turned into frustration. Three hours had passed, and she still hadn't found the perfect gown. She had rejected dozens of dresses for various reasons—some were too ugly, some too flashy, and some lacked the delicate finishing she desired.
The store owner and the workers tried their best to assist Mia, but her attitude was wearing thin on them. She had shouted at them several times, expressing her dissatisfaction loudly. "What the hell is this?" she exclaimed in exasperation. "You have such a big store, but none of your designs satisfy me! Can't you understand? I want something that will make Alaric fall madly in love with me!"
The store owner, trying to maintain composure, offered Mia another dress to try on. "Perhaps this one will meet your expectations, Miss Mia," she said politely, hoping this would be the dress that finally pleased her.
Mia took the dress from the owner's hands and scrutinized it closely. It was a beautiful gown, adorned with intricate lace and delicate beadwork. She went into the fitting room to try it on, hoping against hope that this would be the one.
As Mia stepped out of the fitting room, all eyes turned towards her. The dress was indeed stunning, accentuating her figure perfectly. The workers and the store owner held their breath, waiting for Mia's reaction.
Mia stood in front of the mirror, examining herself from every angle. She seemed lost in thought, and for a moment, everyone in the store held their breath. Finally, Mia turned to face them, her expression unreadable.
"It's... almost perfect," Mia said slowly, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "But there's something missing. It's not making me feel... magical."
"I'm sorry, Miss Mia," the store owner apologized with a troubled voice. "We've shown you our best designs. Perhaps we can try something else?"
Mia sighed deeply, feeling a pang of disappointment. She had imagined this moment for so long—the moment she would find her dream wedding gown. Now, with only a few days left until the wedding, time was running out.
"Fine," Mia said with a resigned tone. "Show me one more dress. One last try. If I'm not satisfied this time, you're going to face the consequences."
The store owner and workers exchanged uneasy glances. They had already shown Mia numerous dresses, each one meticulously chosen from their best collection. Mia's impatience was palpable, and they knew they had reached the limit of her tolerance.
The owner quickly fetched another gown, hoping against hope that this would finally be the one to appease Mia. As Mia tried on the dress, the tension in the air was thick. Everyone in the store held their breath, waiting for her verdict.
Mia emerged from the fitting room once more, and this time, she stood before the mirror, studying herself intently. After what seemed like an eternity, Mia's expression softened. A small smile crept onto her lips, and relief washed over the store owner and workers.
"This... this will do," Mia finally said, her voice calm but firm. "I'll take this one."
The store owner and workers exchanged glances of relief and exchanged a silent nod. They quickly went about finalizing the purchase, eager to see Mia leave and end this exhausting ordeal.
Mia stood in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection. She started murmuring to herself about how Alaric would fall in love with her. In her daydream, she imagined him confessing his feelings for her.
