❞⁀➷♡'ˎ˗ "the undying hero: ghost."
u.a. gave all the students two free days off to recuperate after the sports festival, which you mostly used to recuperate from your fight with rakurai.
unforunately for you, after the first day of much needed rest and relaxation. while you had been looking forward to a second day of relaxation, unfortunately, you were forced to deal with an agitated rakurai today. "the housing market in this version of japan is exhausting to deal with!" rakurai cries out, her arms crossed as she loudly complains in the doorway. "why are you in my house...? it's 4 in the morning, rakurai..." you mutter, holding a pillow over your head.
"because i don't know anyone else and if we're going to find the dimension devil we have to start looking now!" you groan aloud. "the dimension devils still in hell. it doesn't have any memories of me yet, so it's not going to be here for a while until it gets to the real world and finds out about my heart or whatever. can i go back to sleep now?" you groan, and rakurai suddenly plops down on your back while you're still in bed. you lurch into a sitting position with a cough. "no way! there's no one else here for me to talk to, you're the only person around!" she yells.
you noticed her personality seemed to have changed rapidly. she went from tough, brooding villain to this loud and brazen girl in just a days time. likely because she face she puts on for her enemies wasn't being presented to you anymore. still, you kind of wish she was as quiet as she was when you two met.
"c'mon, get up! let's go somewhere!" she encourages loudly, standing up and bouncing on your bed. you sigh heavily. "fine, just get out and let me get dressed." you mutter under your breath.
but there was no way you were going anywhere this early, you were tired and more interested in sitting comfortably in your pajamas on your final day off. so, you devised a plan based on her outward personality. if rakurai was the younger sibling, which she acts like, she'd probably be into video games or something. really, she'd probably be into slacking off in general. especially because she seems like the silly, excitable type. you'd just get her hooked on a game so you could sit back and relax without having to go anywhere with someone who probably barely had any manners.
you lazily throw on a tank top and some sweats, swinging the door to your walk in closet closed as you grab your phone off the charger and toss it in your pockets. it was mid-late may, so it was still pretty hot outside. you didn't bother grabbing a sweater as you walk past the switch you had bought recently. you push your bedroom door open and toss the handheld console to the girl. "do you like arcade games, rakurai?" you ask curiously, watching as she eyes the nintendo curiously.
"riamei did so i played a lot of them with her." you nod. "you should learn how to play that, then. there's multiplayer games on there, you can teach her to play when we save her." you explain, and she turns to look up at you with a dorky smile. "okay, thank you!"
