the class is collectively pretty surprised, you step forward ahead of thirteen to strain your ears a bit. the usj is not small, but you can hear them if you focus. "thir.... and.... ser head... huh?" you let out a frustrated huff. it's not legible.
focus.
yumi commands, and you shut your eyes for a moment. focusing on the sound of the air conditioner units and the slight echo of the words spoken by the group gathering in the center of the usj. once you filter out the unnecessary background noise, it's a lot easier to understand. you aren't sure if you're the one filtering out that sound, or if yumi's doing it for you. "the teacher's schedule we received the other day said that all might was also supposed to be here." aizawa steps forward. "the trespassing the other day was the work of these scumbags after all, huh?" he mumbles.
"where is he? i went through the trouble of bringing this whole crowd, too... all might... the symbol of peace... i can't believe he's not here. i wonder if he'll come if we kill some kids?" the crusty one questions, you turn to aizawa. "they're here for all might, something about killing the symbol of peace." you say quickly. he raises a brow. "you can hear them?"
"if i focus."
his scarf spreads out like wings as he rocks on his heels, preparing to spring at the villains. "villains!? there's no way they could get into a hero school!" kirishima says in disbelief, yaomomo steps forward. "teacher thirteen, what about the trespasser sensors?" she asks, looking concerned. thirteen turns to face the students over their shoulder while you focus mainly on trying to hear any stray dialogue from the villains that might prove useful. "we have them, of course, but..." thirteen trails off.
"did they only appear here, or around the whole school?" todoroki asks, before continuing. "either way, if the sensors are not responding, that means they have someone with a quirk who can disable them. an isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here. they might be fools, but they're not dumb. this surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind." todoroki explains, it only seems to make the class more nervous.
"seems they didn't find what they came here for. thirteen, keep a close eye on the class. best way to get the attention of the number one hero is to go for a student, that's exactly what they have in mind." you say, and thirteen nods. thankfully, all the teachers were aware of your situation and were able to regard you as a fellow pro in situations like this. "thirteen, start the evacuation. try calling the school." aizawa instructs, and you scoff a bit. "it won't be that easy." he walks up to the top of the stairs. "these villains even had something to counteract the sensors. it's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering. kaminari. you try contacting the school with your quirk, too."
kaminari nods, reaching for the attachment on his hero costume. "yes, sir." midoriya steps forward, looking frazzled. "what about you, sir? will you fight by yourself? with that many, even if you can erase their quirks... eraser head's fighting style is capturing after erasing the enemy's quirk. a frontal battle is..." aizawa interrupts him. "you can't be a hero with just one trick." midoriya nods nervously.
