(The next day)
Y/N's P.O.V
Right now I'm in my lab working on a new project.
As I work I see mum come in.
Y/N: Oh, hey.
Lauren: Hi, sweetie.
She comes over and puts a bag on the table.
Lauren: I brought you some food. I figured you hadn't eaten yet.
I chuckle.
Y/N: Well, you're right. Thank you.
Lauren: So, what are you working on?
Y/N: Just a new project. It involves nanotechnology. Though I'm having a little trouble.
Lauren: Wow. That's surprising.
Y/N: Tell me about it. Luckily, I've got a friend coming by who knows more about this stuff than I do.
Lauren: Oh, yeah. Who's that?
Y/N: Well, I...
Just then my spider sense starts going haywire.
Y/N: Mum, get down. Fast.
She quickly moves away.
A second later there's an explosion and I get sent flying back into the wall.
My vision starts to clear and I see my mask on the floor next to me.
I get up onto one knee and take my clothes off to reveal my suit. I then go to put my mask on.
???: Oh, there's no need to wear a mask around me, Y/N.
I see Hobgoblin come through the smoke and fire on his glider.
Y/N: Oh, shit.
Hobgoblin: That's right. I know who you really are.
He takes his helmet off to reveal Daniel.
My eyes widen.
Y/N: Holy shit. Daniel? You're Hobgoblin.
Hobgoblin: That's right, boy. I am the Hobgoblin!
He laughs manically.
I web zip up and jump at him, but he hits me.
I fall down.
Hobgoblin: I'm not here for you, Spidey.
He throws a pumpkin bomb towards my mum.
Y/N: No!
I jump towards and not it away just before it blows.
