Flashback

Gladys, "Zac get your ass up! I didn't even hit you that hard!"

Zac (4 years old) *Crying*

Gladys, "Jeremiah come kick Zac's ass maybe he'll get up"!

Jeremiah (8 years old) *kicking Zac* "Get up! I said Get up!"

Zac stands up barely able to move!

Gladys, "Look at his bitch ass just like his daddy! You know I took you to your daddy and he didn't even want your ass! He kicked he so hard I almost dropped you! Now look at you pathetic! You ain't gone never be shit like your bitch ass daddy! *grabbing Jeremiah leaving*

Zac *crying*, "I'm hungry! I'm hungry!"

Agnis (Gladys Friend), "Where's my Zacky at? Auntie Agnis just wants you to touch it so she can feel better!"

Zac was hiding in the Cabinets he didn't make a sound! Agnis has been messing with him for months since his mom and Jeremiah leave around the same time each week she learned the schedule!

Agnis, *Dangling a box of chicken*, "I got some chicken Zacky come on out so auntie Agnis can feed you baby!"

Zac trembled under the sink! He was hungry but he couldn't risk her finding him! He held his side and cried in pain!

Agnis, "Zacky I know you want this chicken baby! Come get it!

Zac stepped out from under the cabinet with tears in his eyes! He was hungry!

Agnis, "There you go come and bless auntie Agnis"!

Zac, *dropped his head and wiped his tears*! He ate the chicken first and then Agnis did whatever she was going to do! When she was almost finished his grandma Carol walked in! He thought for sure he was safe but she slapped Agnis and said, "Pay me BITCH this shit ain't free!"

The next thing Zac knew he was seeing more women! Prostitutes and Drug Addicts lined up! Zac's grandma was pimping him out for a profit! She did this when Zac's mom wasn't around!

Gladys and Jeremiah would be home for 2 weeks out the month and his knew where their other week or so! Most of the time there was no running water and no food! Zac managed to find crumbs sometimes and eat them!

When Gladys was home her and Jeremiah would take turns whopping Zac's Ass and whatever nigga she brought with her would do the same thing! Zac didn't understand what it meant to be loved or to love anyone else! He became a product of his mom's addiction and his environment!

Whenever he would ask for something she would slap him! Whenever his teacher called and said he needed something for school she would slap him! She slapped him around all day! She always made sure the brushes were concealed and no one could see them! She put on a show in front of the community when she hated his damn guts! He looked too much like his Daddy the man she could never have! So she hurt Zac repeatedly until one day he ran away!

He lived on the streets and sold drugs and prostituted hisself for money! That was the only way he knew how to survive, he grew up around it! His mama and brother were both on drugs and he sold it so it made him no better right?

Despite being abused in many different ways Zac did not have any violent tendencies! One day he saw his mama in the Alley way sucking dick and he called out to her!

Zac, "Ma?"

Gladys finished and collected her money then she walked up to him and slapped the shit out of him kicking him in the nuts, "MF I'm not your mama I have only one son! If you ever mess up my money flow again! I'll kill your ass!"

Zac was in shock but most of all he was hurting! She didn't acknowledge him! She didn't ask how he was doing, She didn't seem happy to see him! He started walking down the side walk and he ran into Carol!

Carol, "Well if it isn't my sweet little honey dip you need to come back and make Grandma some money!" Zac took off running! He ran right into a police officer and that landed him in prison for 3 years! He got two strikes because of the amount of drugs he had on him!

Zac opened his eyes and Fatima was crying hard!

Fatima, "Zac you was a baby it wasn't your fault!"

Zac, "I can't sleep because I have to jump up and check on her! The dreams I have are all from her point of view! I don't want to fail her Fatima! I can't fail her!"

Fatima wiped Zac's tears, "Zac you're doing Damn good! Never doubt yourself! We can talk more about this tomorrow! Let's go to bed!"

Fatima grabbed Zac's hand and took him to her room! She pulled back the covers and they both laid down!

Zac, "Little spoon or Big spoon"!

Fatima, "Big spoon you need it more!"

Fatima held Zac and in minutes he was sleeping peacefully and she drifted off behind him!
