(Matt's POV)

Mama put us in the living room to watch the parade. I love watching the balloons. The Spongebob one is my favorite! Things aren't as bad as they were earlier, but Wendy seems really tired. She's lying on the couch and her eyes keep closing. She doesn't seem right, but she's not crying, so that's good. Mama said that Papa gave her something to help her feel better. Like when she's having bad days and has to take something to help her feel better. It makes Mama quiet when she does. Kind of like Wendy.

I hope she feels better.

Papa said that Wendy should be. It will just be Mama and me tomorrow because Papa's taking Wendy and her mama to work. He has some games for her to play. Games make me feel better, so I hope they help her feel better too.

"Wendy, look, it's Scoobie Doo!"

I look back and she's back to her eyes closed.

"Wendy? Do you need a nap? Mama takes naps sometimes to feel better."

Her eyes are back open as she talks quiet.

"No. I just. I'm watching."

I talk too quiet.

"Do you want me to be quiet? Sometimes Mama wants me to be quiet when she's not feeling good."

She shakes her head.

"No, you don't have to."

I turn back and get excited.

"It's Songebob! He looks like he's flying. Hey, who's that?"

I'm confused at the ballon after. He looks like a bird, but I don't know from what cartoon.

"He's, uh..."

Wendy's quiet as she tries to come up with the answer.

"Chicken little, yeah. He's from a movie. It's pretty good. I watched it before."

Wendy's back to seeming like she's not finishing what she was going to say, but not sad. She doesn't seem happy, just tired.

I turn back to the parade to let her take a nap if she needs it.
