(Matt's POV)

Mama looks through my closet to grab some play clothes for me. She said that we're going to play at the park. I love the park. Wendy has been still sleeping, but her mama is going to wake her to come too. Mama said it would be good to get some fresh air.

"Okay, my Little Prince, do you want to wear your blue shirt with the dinosaurs or your yellow plaid one?"

"The dinosaurs!"

Mama smiles as she puts the other back in my closet and lays the one I picked out on my bed.

"I'll make sure Wendy and Ms. Alyssa are about ready. You can bring one toy, but you have to be the one to keep up with it."

Mama leaves and I get changed. I make sure to grab Rex before I head out of my room. It's not much longer before we are headed to the park. It's not too far, but sometimes it feels like it is. Wendy seems better, and her friend even seems to be gone.

Mama and Ms. Alyssa stay on the bench while Wendy and I play, but Wendy mostly stays on the swing. She still seems to be tired. The slides are my favorite, especially the swirly one. It's like going through a tunnel!

I'm not sure how long it's been before Mama calls me and I notice Wendy's friend sitting in the swing beside her. She doesn't look at him but keeps swinging. She's getting really high, I can never go that high because Mama says that I could get hurt.

"Hey, Little Prince, it's getting cold, so how about you put on your coat?"

Mama grabs it out of the bag before handing it to me.

"Hey, I- Wendy, slow done! I don't like you going that high."

Wendy looks at her Mama. Her face is blank like how Mama's gets sometimes when she's not feeling too good. She doesn't say anything but stops her legs.

I look back at Mama who looks worried.

"Mama, I'm thirsty."

She looks at me with a smile that doesn't feel right. Her eyes don't say that she's happy.

"Okay, do you want apple juice or fruit punch?"

"Fruit punch, Wendy likes apple juice."

Mama's smile changes to one that looks better as her eyes seem nice.

"I know, so I made sure to bring enough for you both. Do you want apple juice?"

"Yes, please."

I smile. I love apple juice too.

There's a noise behind us before Ms.Alyssa shouts and runs to the swings.

"Seriously, Iris!"

I turn around to see Iris no longer on the swing. She's standing, looking confused at her mama as she holds her shoulders, kneeling in front of her.
