Continuing from 'The End of the World - Part IV'

"Earth death in three minutes."
"AND HERE IT COMES." Cassandra sighed. "You're just as useful dead, all of you. I have shares in your rival companies and they'll triple in price as soon as you're dead. My spiders are primed and ready to destroy the safety systems. How did that old Earth song go?" She glared at the Doctor and Lily, who had started to gravitate closer to one another. "Burn, baby, burn." she sneered.
"Then you'll burn with us!" Jabe pointed out.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Cassandra replied as sweetly as her wicked self could. "I know the use of teleportation is strictly forbidden, but I'm such a naughty thing. Spiders, activate!"
Platform One, the entire ship, started to tremble uncontrollably due to various explosions being set off. At one point, The Doctor had taken hold of Lily's hand and they both worked to keep each other on their feet as they struggled to stand.
"Force fields gone with the planet about to explode," Cassandra announced, clearly well-pleased at herself. "At least it'll be quick. Just like my fifth husband. Oh, shame on me." She let out a giggle as all the spectators tried to hold onto one another. "Buh-bye, darlings. Buh-bye, my darlings!" A flash of blue light beamed and then Cassandra and her assistants vanished.
"Heat levels rising."
"Reset the computer." The Moxx demanded desperately.
"Only the Steward would know how!" Jabe informed in a worried tone.
"No." The Doctor wouldn't accept it. "We can do it by hand. There must be a system restore switch." He let go of Lily and started running towards where they came from previously. "You lot just chill!"
The Doctor had to have heard Lily rushing after him because he turned to her with a wild look in his eye. "No, Lily. You stay back."
She shook her head insisting for her to go. "But I can help."
"Stay." He ordered. "I won't tell you again." And that was that. Lily watched as he left the room. Watched as Jabe joined his side and he didn't brush her off like he had her. She hugged herself and back up further into the large, open room feeling smaller than she ever had before.

It may have been just minutes but to Lily it felt like hours when the Doctor returned. She stood up from where she sat on a nearby ledge and scanned behind him searching for Jabe. But she was nowhere to be found and, by the look on his face, she was gone. "Are you okay?" Was what she decided to say as he ignored her, scanning the guests.
"Yeah, I'm fine." The way he said that didn't have Lily believe him. "I'm full of ideas, I'm bristling with them. Idea number one, teleportation through five thousand degrees needs some kind of feed. Idea number two, this feed must be hidden nearby." He started to look around until his gaze fell on the ostrich egg. He walked over to it and smashed it open, making Lily jump, and held up a hidden teleportation feed. "Idea number three, if you're as clever as me, then a teleportation feed can be reversed."
He moved to stand in front of Lily and she wondered if that was intentional once he twisted the feed and Cassandra reappeared, laughing hard. Lily glared at her over the Doctor's shoulder as well as everyone else still on board. "Oh, you should have seen their little alien faces." She then noticed whoever she was talking to was no longer there and in their place was an entire room of very angry guests. "Oh .." her laughing died down rather quickly. " "So, you passed my little test." she quickly added right after. "This makes you eligible to join, er, the Human Club."
