THE SECOND THEY RETURNED TO FLOOR 500 OF THE GAME STATION, the Doctor led them down the corridor- Jack holding the circuit board from Margaret under his arm. "Turn everything up!" The Doctor ordered the crew that remained. "All transmitters full power, wide open." His voice grew desperate. "Now! Do it!"
"What does this do?" Pavale questioned as he turned in his chair to get to work on the controls.
"Stops the Daleks from transmitting on board." The Doctor replied. "How did you get on? Did you contact Earth?"
"Well," He started. "We tried to warn them, but all they did was suspend our license because we stopped the programs."
"And the planet's just sitting there, defenseless," Lily commented with a frown.
"Lynda?" The Doctor looked over to a blonde girl in buns that Lily had never met before. "What're you still doing on board?" He gave her a concerned look before looking back to Pavale. "I told you to evacuate everyone."
"She wouldn't go," Pavale replied.
Lynda answered shortly. "Didn't want to leave you."
Lily gave a smile to Lynda, much like a silent hello- to which Lynda replied with a beaming grin. Another woman spoke up. "There weren't enough shuttles anyway, or I wouldn't be here. We've got about a hundred people stranded on Floor Zero."
"So, nobody can leave even if they wanted to?" Rose asked, saddened.
"Oh, my God." Pavale gasped at what he saw on his screen, earning the Doctor's attention. "The Fleet is moving. They're on their way!"
The Doctor let out a low growl and hurried away, now pulling bits out of the conduits from the floor. "Dalek plan. Big mistake, because what have they left me with?" He looked up, expecting an answer but everyone remained silent, watching him with matching confused looks. "Anyone? Anyone?" He shook his head. "Oh, come on, it's obvious. A great big transmitter. This station." He kept working as he talked. "If I can change the signal, fold it back, sequence it, anyone?"
Jack's eyes brighten. "You've got to be kidding."
The Doctor clapped. "Give the man a medal."
"A Delta Wave?" Lily asked, head tilted.
"A Delta Wave!" The Doctor nodded.
"What's a Delta Wave?" Rose asked.
"A wave of Van Cassadyne energy," Jack answered, giving the Doctor a worried look. "It fries your brain. Stand in the way of a Delta Wave and your head gets barbequed."
"And this place can transmit a massive wave! Wipe out the Daleks!" The Doctor finished, ending in a laugh.
"Well, get started and do it then!" Lynda encouraged him.
"Trouble is, wave this size, building this big, brain as clever as mine-" Lily raised an eyebrow. The Doctor threw a smirk her way. "should take about, oh . . three days? How long till the Fleet arrives?"
Pavale double-checked the time and swallowed. "Twenty-two minutes,"

They were grouped at the console, Lily watching the screen over Jack's shoulder and beside her sister- the Doctor continuing to rip open panels and wires behind them. "We've now got a forcefield so they can't blast us out of the sky, but that doesn't stop the Daleks from physically invading,"
