THE MOVED INTO A VESTRY to privately talk away from the rest of the wedding guests. They were in chairs, Lily and Rose facing Pete. "I'm a Dad," Pete mumbled to himself. "I mean, I'm already a dad, but Rose and Lily grow up and they're you two." That's wonderful. I mean, I suppose I thought that you'd both be a bit useless, what with my useless genes and all, but." His nose scrunched up. "Well, I mean, how did you get here?"

Rose looked at Lily. "Uh," The oldest sister took the lead."Do you really want to know?"

Pete nodded. "Yeah."

"A time machine."

Pete stared at her. "A time machine?"

"I promise." Lily gave a painful smile. "Cross my heart."

"What, do you all have time machines where you come from?"

"Nah," Rose answered. "Just the Doctor."

They heard one of the creature's roar from outside. "Did you know these things were coming?"

"No," Lily muttered.

"God, I don't know." Pete held his head. "My head's spinning. What's the future like?"

Rose hesitated. "It's not so different."

"What am I like?" He started. "Have I gone grey? Have I gone bald?" The sisters stayed quiet. "Don't tell me I've gone bald." He was, again, met with silence. He swallowed and changed the conversation. "So, if this mate of yours isn't either of your boyfriends and I have to say I'm glad because being your dad and all, I think he's a bit old for you." Lily chuckled at that. "Have either of you got a bloke?"

Rose moved her head to the side. "No, I did have-"

"Mickey!"

A young boy in a suit ran up and clinged himself onto a now-standing Rose. It was a young Mickey Smith and Lily would have recognized him without Jackie shouting his name.

Pete watched and stood along with Lily. "Do you know him?"

Rose rubbed Little Mickey's head. "I just didn't recognize him in a suit." She carefully unlatched his arms from her. "You have to let go of me, sweetheart." She watched him run off to a waiting Jackie and murmured. "I'm always saying that."

Little Mickey was now standing beside Jackie and holding onto her hand. "He just grabs hold of what's passing and holds on for dear life." She smoothes a loving hand over his cheek. "God help his poor girlfriend if he ever gets one."

"Me and Rose were just talking." Pete was quick to tell her. "Oh, and," He nodded to the ginger. "This is Lily."

Lily watched Jackie give her a look she never had before. "God, you really are sick, aren't you? Couldn't woo the blonde so you find yet another girl with our other daughter's name and one that looks so much like her?" If Jackie had laser vision all three of them would be dead. "Come on, Mick."

As Jackie and Little Mickey left Pete was moving to follow them until Lily stopped him by grabbing his elbow. "You can't tell her about any of this."

Pete demanded. "Why?"

"I'm serious," She put her hand down. "We really don't want you to tell her."

Pete looked between his daughters. "What, do you don't want people to know?"

Rose cleared her throat. "Where I come from, Jackie doesn't know how to work the timer on the video recorder."

"I showed her that last week," He paused. "Point taken."
