Continuing from 'The Doctor Dances - Part I'

"ARE YOU MY MUMMY?" The child asked, looking back and forth between Lily and Rose. "Mummy?"
Lily worked fast at pushing Rose behind her, backing away. "Doctor?"
"Okay," Jack spoke and reached for his gun. "On my signal make for the door."
"Mummy?"
"Now!" Jack shouted, drawing his gun from his hip, and faltered when he realized he was now holding a banana.
The Doctor grinned and revealed what he had stolen from Jack. He blasted a square hole into the wall. "Go now!" He ordered. "Don't drop the banana!"
"Why not?" Jack shouted, annoyed, as Lily pulled herself and Rose through the opening.
"Good source of potassium!" He replied following them out.
"Give me that!" Jack snatched his gun back and sealed the hole back up after they all made it safely through.
"Digital rewind." He winked at Lily before turning to the Doctor. "Nice switch."
"It's from the groves of Villengard." The Doctor said, taking his banana back. "I thought it was appropriate."
"There's really a banana grove in the heart of Villengard and you did that?" Jack asked.
He grinned. "Bananas are good."
When the wall started to crack, Rose shouted out. "Doctor!"
"Come on!" He led them down the corridor in a sprint but was stopped quite literally right after by an army of patients all muttering that same damned word. They tried the other way but it was blocked too. They were stuck between both armies of gas-masked patients and the crack the little boy was beating into the wall. The Doctor held out his arms to stop them from running past. "It's keeping us here till it can get at us."
Jack's eyes and blaster scanned the people. "It's controlling them?"
"It is them." The Doctor corrected. "It's every living thing in this hospital."
"Okay." Jack started to ramble on. "This can function as a sonic blaster, a sonic cannon, and as a triple-enfolded sonic disrupter." He looked to the Doctor. "Doc, what you got?"
"I've got a sonic-" He pulled out his screwdriver and paused. "Oh, never mind."
"What?" Jack asked.
"It's sonic, okay? Let's leave it at that!"
"Disrupter?" Jack edged on. "Cannon? What?"
"It's sonic! Totally sonic! I am soniced up!"
Jack growled. "A sonic what?!"
"Screwdriver!" The Doctor shouted.
When the child started breaking through the wall, Lily had enough of it. She took the gun from Jack and aimed it at the floor. "Going down!" She warned before pulling the trigger, sending them all tumbling down to the lower level's floor.
While Lily helped Rose to her feet. "Doc?" She looked at him as he started standing. "Are you alright?"
"Could've used a warning." He grumbled, standing up.
"What do you think the "going down" was?" She rolled her eyes. "Oh, the gratitude."
"Who has a sonic screwdriver?" Jack asked, standing to his feet.
"I do!" The Doctor retorted.
"Lights . . ." Rose spoke softly, searching the walls for a switch.
"Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks "ooo, this could be a little more sonic?" Jack mocked him.
"What? You've never been bored?" The Doctor glared at him. "Never had a long night? Never had a lot of cabinets to put up?"
The Doctor paused to look at Lily for any help but she didn't want to be caught in the middle, joining Rose in search of a light. "There's got to be a light switch." When she finally found one and flicked it on, the patients in the beds sat up and started their chant again of 'mummy.'
"Door!" Jack ordered, trying the trigger on his gun but it didn't work. "Damn it!"
The Doctor pulled out his screwdriver and started working on the lock. "It's the special features." Jack continued. "They really drain the battery."
"The battery?" Lily cried as they made their way to the storage room on the other side of the door. "That's so lame!" Lily laughed.
"I was going to send for another one, but somebody's got to blow up the factory!" Jack glared at the Doctor.
"Oh, I know." Lily crossed her arms and waited for the Doctor to lock the door. "The first day I met him, he blew my and Rose's job up." She shrugged. "That's practically how he communicates."
"Okay!" The Doctor walked away from the door after securing it. "That door should hold it for a bit!"
"The door!" Jack was unconvinced, "The wall didn't stop it!"
"Well, it's got to find us first! Come on, we're not done yet! Assets, assets!"
"Well, I've got a banana," Jack teased, lounging in the only chair. "and in a pinch, you could put up some shelves?"
The Doctor walked over to a window, stepping up to the table for better access. "Window!"
"Barred," Jack said. "Sheer drop outside. Seven stories."
Rose finished off. "And no other exits."
"Well, the assets conversation went in a flash, didn't it?"
The Doctor ignored him and looked over at Lily with narrow eyes. "So, where'd you pick this one up, then?"
"Doctor." Lily gave him a warning tone.
"She was hanging from a barrage balloon, I had an invisible spaceship." Jack cheekily revealed, with Lily a sultry look. "I never stood a chance."
"Okay." He took that time to take Lily's shoulders and have her face him instead. "One, we've got to get out of here." She tried to listen to him, but a flash behind his shoulder interrupted her concentration. "Two, we can't get out of here." He raised a brow. "Have I missed anything?"
"Yeah." Lily gestured to where there used to be two people. "Jack just disappeared with Rose."
