Continuing from 'Boom Town - Part II'

ROSE STEPPED OUT OF THE TARDIS AND SAW MICKEY STARING UP AT THE WATERFALL WALL. She joined his side, hugging her body for warmth. "It's freezing out here!" Rose exclaimed.

"Better than in there." Mickey nodded to the blue box, hands in his coat pockets. "I get why Lily didn't look away- Margaret does deserve it. She's a Slitheen." He sneered in disgust and then shook his head. "I don't care. It's just weird in that box."

Rose gave a cheeky grin over her scarf. "I didn't really need my passport." She confessed. "Neither of us did."

Mickey smiled at that and looked away blushing. "I've been thinking," He looked back at her. "You know, we could go have a drink? Have a pizza or something? Just you and me."

There was a bit of awkwardness in the air. Rose had hoped that her leaving would have mended whatever was torn between the two of them. So, she decided to try. "That'd be nice." She smiled- even though she still felt the same for him since leaving him for Lily and the Doctor.

"And, I mean, if the TARDIS can't leave until morning," He looked down at his shoes, scuffing up the toes of them on the asphalt. "We could go to a hotel, spend the night," Mickey added and looked back up at Rose. "I mean if you want to. I've got some money."

Rose took in a breath and nodded. "Okay, yeah."

"Is that all right?" Mickey asked, noticing that she inhaled.

Rose reassured him with a smile. "Yeah,"

"Cool." Mickey swallowed. "There's a couple of bars around here. We should give them a go." He remembered the Doctor and Lily. "Do you have to go and tell them?"

Rose recalls telling her sister where she was going before closing the TARDIS doors. "Lily knows."

Lily watched on the monitor Rose walking off with Mickey. She hoped everything would go well and guessed her concern was written all over her face because Jack asked her. "Everything good?"

"Yeah," Lily switched off the monitor and faked a smile. "All good."

"I gather it's not always like this, having to wait," Margaret spoke from down on the lower level of the console room, the trio's back towards where she sat. "I bet you're always the first to leave, Doctor. Never mind the consequences, off you go." She muttered loudly- hate laced with each word. "You butchered my family and then ran for the stars, am I right? But not this time. At last, you have consequences. How does it feel?"

The Doctor glowered and said over his shoulder. "I didn't butcher them."

"Don't answer back," Jack warned him. "That's what she wants."

"I didn't." The Doctor continued despite Jack's advice but didn't turn. "What about you? You had an emergency teleport. You didn't zap them to safety, did you?"

"It only carries one. I had to fly without coordinates. I ended up on a skip in the Isle of Dogs." The trio snickered. Lily saw Margaret glaring. "It wasn't funny."

"Sorry." The Doctor snorted.

"It is a bit funny." Lily giggled as Jack joined in.

"Do I get a last request?" Margaret asked.

The Doctor narrowed his eyes, now turning to face her. "Depends on what it is."

"I grew quite fond of my little human life." Margaret stood and turned around towards them. "All those rituals. The brushing of the teeth, and the complicated way they cook things. There's a little restaurant just around the Bay. It became quite a favorite of mine."
